        Kaity Tong never ages

As far as the dog goes, he'll probably eventually attack somebody at sometime in the future

        Those dogs are just nasty

Contrary to popular belief...pit bulls are really great dogs...and make awesome pets...even in families with kids.

The pit bull is not the problem...is the idiots who make them aggressive and fight them.

The pit bull gets a bad rap...that's why this story is so great.

They don't just get a bad rap because of "owners who make them aggressive".

They get a bad rap because they are indeed naturally agressive....the
report narration mentions that Evans' dog actually was no exception to that.

Pit Bull owners have to be uber-vigilant to make sure their pets don't
injure human beings---because of this, personally I think they are too
much of a threat to have as a pet....and I CERTAINLY wouldn't own one
                    if I had a child---that's just crazy risk-wise.

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

That's like saying "You couldn't ask for a nicer gun."

All the articles I've read in defense of children plus pit bulls,
despite approval of the situation, all come to the same basic conclusion...
and that's a laundry list of precautions to take with this most powerful
                        and deadly dog.

If I had kids, I wouldn't keep a loaded gun in my house and
I certainly woiuldn't keep a pit bull or any other kind of uber-powerful
kind of dog around my children...a powerful, deadly dog that needs
to have a battery of safety rules to be observed at any given time.

That man is lucky the dog dragged him across the street. I think it did indeed save his life. But no, I wouldn't own a pitbull, either.

A pitbull is like a tiger

It could be trained, treated nice and acts perfectly --- then all of a sudden it attacks for no apparent reason at all.

It's not just bad owners ....
The dog itself has genes that make it like that.
All the niceness and training in the world is not going to change it's genes.

They're popular in the city in poor areas because they're a status symbol not much different than other "bling"

If you have kids, stick with a lab
Now THAT is a kid's dog

                              All dogs are potential killers.
                              Much like all humans are.

So I tend to judge them one by one, and not as a race.
I've met pitbulls that are supersweet, and I've met poodles that are vicious and capable of hurting small children.

Now and then, I take shelter dogs out for a walk. I always pick the biggest ones, because those aren't usually picked by most volunteers. I've never had a bad experience, and those dogs are all traumatized.

Pitbulls were messed up by "human" beings. With training, a lot of them will be just fine.
I'm not saying thare are all sweethearts, but neither are people.
Some people, I wouldn't trust to slice bread...
                              .
                              .
                              .
"When things are at their darkest, it's a brave man that can kick back and party."
