Actually, a documentary on e-bay might be interesting. Now, if you have enough money, you can have an instant collection of whatever in about a month. Is that good or bad? Do people turn into serial collectors because there's no longer a challenge to find key pieces? Do they sit around all day hitting refresh on their Buy it Now screens to find hidden auctions? Maybe convince them to go cold-turkey from their computers for a month and follow them with cameras. Kind of a Biggest Loser of computer time.

I like all of the ideas posted. My idea would be a recreation of "this is Your Life" but with local people. Give it a small town flavor finding people who have stayed local the whole time (Getting former high school teachers to remember when, etc.) but mixing it in with folks who need to come from further away. Could probably invite local politicians and celebrities (as long as there are no skeletons....)
      It's all good!

That's a great idea! What's funny though is the "no skeletons" part. That seems to be really hard to do these days.

Keep 'em coming fellows and girls!

I think it would be easier to say what I don't want to see on TV, b/c I'm perpetually stuck in the 70s. But if I had to make a choice, I'd have to say I want Saturday morning back, (w/o having to work for it via videos or YouTube). I don't get RTV and TVLand sucks, so I'd want my own retro TV, complete w/ Saturday morning toons and live action, Schoolhouse Rock, Time for Timer, and Dr. Henry's Emergency Lessons for People (H.E.L.P.).
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
