Do one on your local city workers. An expose type but this time give both sides of the stories. You see six city workers standing around a hole "working" but to the cars that pass by it looks like they are just standing around doing nothing.Second half flip it to the workers point of view. Why are they standing there? Waiting for foreman to show up before they proceed to dig, waiting for digging clearance from outside source ie,gas company or hydro.Stuff like that.A perception and reality type of clash. What is seen and assumed and what is reality.
Hang out with local security companies there is some fun.
    Ride with your paramedics.
    ride with your cops
    Ride with your streets workers
    Ride with your water workers
    Ride along with hydro

Failing any of that the only thing that's going to get me to turn on my TV is the return of firefly/serenity If you've got any pull at all make that happen...LOL

We uses to have that on Tech Tv before it was bought and the programming went to hell. I agree with a earlier post about a total retro channel . On the opposite side I would like to see most of the recent reality shows taken off of TV. I hate about 99% of them. Most of the talk shows have to go too, that's including (especially) Dr. Phil.

Japan has this crazy version of Robot Wars.
Instead of making small robots fight each other, the contestants are inside big robots (Ripley style), and beat the crap out of each other.

howabout a local horror movie show? I'm really digging Wolfman Mac, but miss the days of Paul Bearer and Son of Svenghoulie.

watching something i dont like is like an intrusion into my home...

i dont watch violent movies as i wouldnt invite a couple of drunks in from the street and have them go at it in my front room, so same applies to my tv

i dont watch horror of any kind! i have sleep apnea and suffer horrific knightmares as it is

so...what i would like to see is in opposite

less violence, less horror, less carnage, less killing, less soaps, less cops, less religion oops did he say religion yup i did,

less sex... naatttt! after watershed is fine

i likes me a bit of history, music, comedy, sci fi, cartoons, dont get me wrong some cartoons and sci fi can be quite violent but when i say id like to see less violence i mean the real type

This is another reason why I love this place and you guys. Even the bare boobies of WW2. You know there is an angle inthat if you think about the propaganda posters that warned our G.I. Joes to keep their yankee doodle dandy safe and clean....

Still these are some great ideas please keep them coming. I do want to do a fun retro show featuring toys, movies, tv etc... I've just been in this horrible rut lately. I'll blame this long cold winter. But seriously you folks are helpig me melt the ice. I truly thank you for that.

so please keep bringing me your ideas and suggestions. Especially those like toystalker's... "clean TV" doesn't mean "suck TV". The local interest shows are also great... keep 'em coming!

And one more thing... for the fun of it... As I get back into production on anything (with the exception of the 'straight news' stuff... I'm going to put a mego somewhere in the background... i'll post the shows on you tube and then you guys and gals can take a crack at finding 'em.

I would LOVE to see a show that scientifically debunks ghost hunters and psychic detectives. Seriously.

It would be fun, educational, and probably even stir people up.

EDIT: just think of it as Mythbusters for supernatural phenomena. It could look and sound EXACTLY like one of those shows ghost hunter or psychic detective shows do typically, but with a twist. The host is a scientist who goes through each claim and reveals the truth behind each part.

                        Saturday Night Dance Party

Similar to American Bandstand but for the 70's generation with disco music and an older crowed in their 40's

Perhaps even get some local bands to cover some classics as guests.

Great idea... the only problem though is that when it comes to the topic, odds are your never gonna get anything supernatural to happen on camera on cue... it would be great a couple times but after that it would be so boring that the viewer would probably go back to watching "Boobies of WW2"
Penn & Teller actually did a show like that in case you misseed it it was called "bull****" great show btw but ran its course pretty quick

Still great idea... keep 'em coming!

                            Hmmmm....

                            This one's easy:

I know it's not much help; but I'd love to see something different.... something you couldn't say "oh, it's like...."

Wha? I'm so confused. You said you made shows involving the paranormal. I don't get how making a show questioning paranormal claims is any different that making a show making paranormal claims. It's the exact same show with a slightly different script.

Penn & Teller's show was just a loudmouth diatribe. Mythbusters has been on for years now.
