Since movie situations like that one depend on the suspense created by
"will he" or "won't he" "have it all shoved" I can't imagine that was the
intended humor of that moment...still it was a great moment in one of the
greatest movies ever made...and certainly one of the best of the decade.
Agreed. I don't think he totally tipped his hand, but I know Tarantino is a Dude that likes "the chickens to come home to roost" and that made Hitler laughing cause me to think, "You just wait...your's is coming!".
Instead of Lord of the Rings...it should've been called Brokeback Frodo & Sam...

The final fight was lame... switch it out with No Country For Old Men. You convinced me
I really debated including that one. I love it and as far as I am concerned, Buscemi is the man. I love it when he can be more than a "bit player". That was a great role for him.
As far as seeing Slumdog Millionaire, I hope I don't make it seem like the best thing ever. It has it's faults, but I really think you will get it, Hue. It's a great movie, but it is a particular plot device that I found amazing. It's very "Cosmic" in that sense.
Damn!!!! How did I forget Gladiator!!!!!.... That's the best Guy/Chick movie ever!!! lol!
I included it with the nerdy stipulation I believe it is not technically of this decade. That's just me....a nerd who stands on whether something technically qualifies.
Had it been released a year later, I would have had it on my list.

I have SLUMDOG and just haven't watched it yet...I appreciate the
positive review and encouragement to watch it. Hope I like it but
ya never know.
BTW, Hector's recommendation of THERE WILL BE BLOOD was a great one---
-only reason it's not in my "Top" list is because I don't watch it much...it's
pretty dry compared to other movies that I think are real good.
(Altho' the last scene is one of the best movie enders of all-time IMO)
It's the constant "repeat watchers" that get th highest marks from me...
Speaking of which...
Nice to hear ya give props to GHOST WORLD...I too think Buscemi
is a top actor...I had heard a rumor he was going to play the JOKER
and even tho' I thought Ledger was really good, I think Buscemi coulda gave
him a run for his money.

KEVIN SMITH should win an award for those Q&As...they are great....
...I prefer them to his movies...
