    Real Christmas trees smell so wonderful! But I hate the thought of killing a tree.
    Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.
    Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness

    To do list:
    1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
    1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;

      Funny you should mention that Jess, I was just reading info on exactly that.

      Reasons to buy a real tree

      1. Most real trees come from somewhere local, so you are helping your own community's economy.

      2. Tree's are grown for cutting ... If that didn't happen, there would probably be a Walmart or stripmall on that land right now.

      3. There is no waste ... The community recycles the old tree's into mulch for beautifying state highways and public buildings ... saving people money on extra taxes for this purpose.

        We cut a tree off of someone's farm land. Around here, you can't spit without hitting a cedar tree in the country, so they are plentiful. I'm all for reforesting, etc, but 3 trees a year ain't gonna kill nobody.

        And the needles aren't bad. That's most peoples complaint. Walking in and smelling the cedar smell every evening is well worth it. To me, that's the smell of Christmas.

            A 7 footer. You can see a few of my hero ornaments and my kids ornaments. My wife made the tree skirt. My wife and I bought the angel topper on our honeymoon 22 years ago. Been on every tree since. No presents yet though.

                I love tinsel on a tree. Can't put it on cause of our cats though.
