Mark my words... This is the early stages for what will become 'Aerosmith-the farewell tour'. Over the summer it was reported that Aerosmith was losing ticket receipts from the bad economy and basically touring too much. I thought at that time, "They need a gimmick to generate renewed interest." This is it. Public fueds are often fed to the media and fans to build back demand. Don't worry, they'll be back.

I've always been an Aerosmith fan but the last time I REALLY REALLY was into them was back when "Pump" came out....an awesome awesome album and one of my all-time favorites to this day. The subsequent stuff was ok but got a little bit less with each go-round.

What is funny about what you just said. My newspaper publisher told me the same thing after I wrote the Steven Tyler quits Aerosmith article in the local rock rag. Pretty much the same thing that came out off Cliff's mouth you just said.

I'll bet money on it now.

The Aerosmith farewell tour. After months of people boo wooing over Steven Tyler leaving....this will come together and be announced. You're right!!

And now he may be gone........

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry says estranged singer Steven Tyler's surprise guest appearance at his Joe Perry Project concert Tuesday night (Nov. 10) in New York "really didn't change anything in my mind" about the status of their band.

I could understand if they get a temp replacement while he recovers but not for good

So is he or isn't he leaving the band?
I couldn't care less, but dude, make up your mind already

I could actually see that happening.
