Over the summer it was reported that Aerosmith was losing ticket receipts from the bad economy and basically touring too much. I thought at that time, "They need a gimmick to generate renewed interest." This is it. Public fueds are often fed to the media and fans to build back demand. Don't worry, they'll be back.

What is funny about what you just said. My newspaper publisher told me the same thing after I wrote the Steven Tyler quits Aerosmith article in the local rock rag. Pretty much the same thing that came out off Cliff's mouth you just said.

I've always been an Aerosmith fan but the last time I REALLY REALLY was into them was back when "Pump" came out....an awesome awesome album and one of my all-time favorites to this day. The subsequent stuff was ok but got a little bit less with each go-round.

I have the same feeling who cares. Like what was said if this was in the early 90's it would mean more but bands come and go....I always liked what John Lennon said....you still have the records.....
