I could actually see that happening.

He seems to be busy with Chickenfoot. Pretty good band I would say. We get all their videos at work.

I could understand if they get a temp replacement while he recovers but not for good

And now he may be gone........

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry says estranged singer Steven Tyler's surprise guest appearance at his Joe Perry Project concert Tuesday night (Nov. 10) in New York "really didn't change anything in my mind" about the status of their band.

What is funny about what you just said. My newspaper publisher told me the same thing after I wrote the Steven Tyler quits Aerosmith article in the local rock rag. Pretty much the same thing that came out off Cliff's mouth you just said.

I'll bet money on it now.

The Aerosmith farewell tour. After months of people boo wooing over Steven Tyler leaving....this will come together and be announced. You're right!!

I've always been an Aerosmith fan but the last time I REALLY REALLY was into them was back when "Pump" came out....an awesome awesome album and one of my all-time favorites to this day. The subsequent stuff was ok but got a little bit less with each go-round.

If Joe Perry continues, it will not be "Aerosmith". The Joe Perry project like someone said.
No, it is not Aerosmith. It is the Joe Perry Project. I just meant to say, JP is carrying on, and seems to have quite quickly replaced Tyler in his musical life.

I know they're not what they were back in the 90's but it's still sad to see this happen to a band that's been together so long

I have the same feeling who cares. Like what was said if this was in the early 90's it would mean more but bands come and go....I always liked what John Lennon said....you still have the records.....
