I wonder if that on stage accident had something to do with this.

I heard they played some show last week, and the DJ said it could be their last show ever. So I wonder how much of a shock it really was. Maybe they expected him to officially tell them to their faces (which he should have).

At this point, I'd say just hang it up. Of course, they could go on youtube and find some Tyler-sound-alike like Journey did to replace Steve Perry, and his previous clone!

            again?

Oh no, wait. That was Perry and Whitford last time around. Those were good times. I especially liked Joe's band the JP Project.

              IMO Aerosmith is spent anyway.

              No big loss

yeah it would suck to see another lead singer that's not Tyler up there

I was actually trying to find a picture of this dude (who, incidentally does look like a lady here) when I realized the JP project was back in action as of a month and a half ago.

Cowboy Mach Bell - singer for the JP Project circa 1982 or 3. Did a whang doodle of a cover of Marc Bolan's 'Get it On' with Joe. The album cover pics sort of remind me of the world's (worst) greatest super pirates.

edit: video of this, uh.... singer
