I believe God is a spirit and that there are Angels and demons who are spirirt creatures. The demons do things to make us believe things that are against God's will, that is why they make people see and hear wierd things. They are not friendly spirits.

I am a FIRM believer in double exposed negatives.

I have a quick story about working in a photo lab years ago. Most of you guys probably remember that when using 35mm automatic camera lots of times the last exposure in a roll of film was cut off or double exposed. Usually a photo-lab wouldn't bother printing it because they charge per picture and most people don't want to pay for screwed up looking pictures.

Anyway, this very dismayed young couple came into our store - they had used one of our competitors to develop their roll of film and after examining the negatives they realized the double exposed frame at the end of their roll wasn't printed. So they examined the unprinted negative very closely and noticed the ghost-like image captured in the double exposure.

They were convinced that they had captured photographic evidence of ghosts, and they were 100% sure the reason the other photo-lab didn't give them a print of their image was because the other lab was full of crooks who were going to try to sell the print for big money. I tried to explain things to them, but they didn't believe me. They wanted a print, but absolutely refused to leave the negative with me because they were convinced it was worth millions.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I think some people who do are perfectly intelligent - this couple was not.

No seriously , I believe, theres some good stuff on youtube if u look, one comes to mind, ghost demons and spirits part 2.

Friends years ago, while at uni, rented a house together up north in stoke (they had been there maybe 3 weeks). One night while asleep with his girlfriend, heard a tapping on the window, they both woke up, thinking it was one of his mates. They suddenly noticed 2 or 3 types of balls floating around the room, they of course crapped themselves, and just lay under the covers staring at these things. This all lasted maybe about a minute, suddenly one of these balls, just flew down and went through the girl, she said she felt this ultra coldness. They got up in the middle of the night, and left, and never stayed there again. They spoke to the landlord, kinda told him the story, and asked if anything like this had happened, he denied anything, but had a look on his face, as if he knew something.

We all had a good laugh from him, but this was all before I had heard about "orbs", spirits that cant fully manifest themselves, so years later, I remembered this story.

Once again theres some good stuff on youtube(of course theres a lot of fake stuff), but type in" ghost orbs", and u should come up with something. Theres a good one, his site is called "haunted earth", english guy, who takes it quite seriously, and goes on ghost hunts.

Okay - I just watched this based on your recommendation. I don't mean to be overly argumentative, but the last half of that video doesn't seem acted/scripted to you?

I understand that it's your belief that it's real, and I really don't intend to insult your beliefs - but I personally can't look past these few things:

The chair leg on the ground - it's very easy to make round things roll.

The child ghost - He's shooting with night vision, and the ghost looks exactly like a child shot with night vision. The fact that they shot the last half with a participating child seals this one for me, I have to believe it's just a kid shot with night vision.

Pantry ghost - I just can't look past the fact that they only filmed the ghost when there was reflective glass involved. Isn't it more likely that the girl in the later scenes is acting out the ghost image from the outside of the door reflecting her image?

Hide & Seek - apart from the fact that that all the dialog in these scenes seems acted and planed out, it seems very likely to me that another child ran behind the dresser as he entered the room instead of a ghost.

I believe they're possible, but I'm a little skeptical. Most of the people I know who have had ghostly encounters seem to have the same personality. That is, they almost seem predestined to see these sort of things. I really do want to believe. It actually fascinates me, but until I see proof, I'll remain a skeptic.

Yeah. . . . .I lived in a house that had a haunting. I had a brother that was killed in a car accident in 1991, and me and another brother moved in, along with different girl friends at different times.

Everyone that came into the house had some sort of experience, including tradesmen/electricians etc that came into the house. The happenings went on day and night, alot of knocking around the walls of the room you were in, but things used to move unaided. . . .right in front of you. Very freaky, but fortunately most of the time these things happened in front of multiple people.

3 of us that lived there, had the Bed shake on us, which only happened if you were the only person sleeping in the house alone. I was the last of the 3 of us it happened to, and yep it was bizarre. . . . . like an electrical vibration shaking the bed, is the best descrition I have for it.

We spoke to the girlfriend of my brother that died, that had lived there with him. . . .and she had expereinced the same things, and she said how my deceased brother (whose house it was), always tried to down play it, make excuses to make her comfortable. . . .but at least then we knew the disturbance pre-dated ourt brothers death and wasn;t him.

My mother who was/is a staunch Catholic, had always raised us repeating over and over that such things weren;t real, and that it was against our
religion to believe in them (or so she said), eventually went through the house, putting crucifixes in every room, and spoke to the spirit/
enitiy/disturbance, what ever, telling it to move on (as she had heard to do this on the radio), and everything stopped.

I know that there are many here, who as stated just don;t believe, and that is fine. Who knows,. . . .maybe one day they may have some experience
themselves. If not, good luck to them. Still creeps me put a bit, thinking about it, but funny how we all just learnt to deal with it when we
                lived there.

As I said, I am still a bit skeptical even though I saw some things happen that I can't explain.

The one common denominator when these events occurred was experiencing extreme grief and stress so my mind was probably playing tricks on me.

If anyone has lost a loved one be it a parent, spouse, friend, etc...I think you can relate to the feeling of numbness that I think is some type of natural defense mechanism that occurs in your brain. I suppose that the mind can play all kinds of tricks on you when you are in a complete state of shock.
