      I remember seeing some newspaper ads that superimposed more modest shorts over top of the girl. Guess it was too risque for some markets. I have to say, it was a really eyecatching poster.

            At the time -- and even today, I still think the boat chase scenes were one of the best "chase scenes" in any James Bond movie to date.

            Also, back in the day when I was just a kid and seen LALD in the theatre I thought it was kind of scary -- especially the part when the guy comes out of the grave

              it is the prototype for a boat chase the same way Bullitt is the modern car chase - one of the reason LALD is still on most peoples top 10 bonds. And Yaphet Koto as Mr big was very cool

                Koto is always great in anything he ever plays in ...

                Even as a badguy, there's something about him that makes people like his character
