I hear most people say it as Esprit without pronouncing the T as in Espri.

That's the right pronunciation...there was fashion company or something in
the 80s spelled the same way...and I remember all the hip middle school
chicks pronouncing it all "French" like---err--uh---European or what-have-you

As much as I LOVE Sean Connery as Bond....I have to pick Casino Royal(with Daniel Craig).

Only care for the Connery Bonds, the new Craig ones are pretty good and come closest to capturing the pulp style of the books.

A lot of people like On her majesty's secret service but I always thought it was rather boring.

The ending was ok, but the movie itself as a whole dragged.

I also thought the reuse of past Bond clips during the beginning credits was too phoned in.

I think I'd have to second Megoapesbut's sentiment for For Your eyes Only. This was my first Bond film, I believe. If this is the one where he flies a copter, picks up the wheelchair-bound villain and drops him into a smokestack, that's the one. I also adored Moonraker. I guess its just the era I grew up in. I can't remember ever seeing a Connery Bond film.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I grew up on Roger Moore's Bond. Gotta go with the two with Jaws. The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker!!!!

Go ahead and laugh at me, but I grew up during the Roger Moore era and just can't help having a soft spot for his flicks. My favorite is probably For Your Eyes Only
I agree totally....it's a bit dated to watch now but is still my favorite Bond flick. Love Goldeneye, Live and let Die and the Spy Who Loved Me as well.

I grew up on roger Moore as Bond. connery's flicks were to cartoonish. Tim Dalton was just a mess. I liked Brosnan and I like Craig as Bond. Both of his movies have been really good.

That's true. Bond is a real rough kind of guy in the novels, he doesn't have the suave gentleman image like he does in most of the films.

One from each (except Lazenby since he only did one...and Dalton - he doesn't count):

                                Connery - Goldfinger (classic)

Moore - For Your Eyes Only

                                Brosnan - Goldeneye

Craig - Casino Royale (the best one IMO - because it captures the feel of the book better than any of the others)
