Yes! Very! I saw this little guys, like between 6-12 train harder then Tyson! Golden Gloves gym was more of a home to these kids then their real homes! We gave them the attention and support they needed. I wasn't paid a dime for what i did! It just made me feel great to put a smile on these kids faces! Bring their confidence up! Not only in Boxing, but life itself! I preached more on staying out of trouble and stay in school then i did on their boxing skills. I'm still ****ed at the state for cutting out the PAL program!

Ali is the greatest I would say he was the Elvis of boxing, period!!!

I also like foreman he reminds me off myself...LOL nothing fancy just punch and punch until the job is done.
Lennox lewis was great to watch.
I'm not much into light weights or middle weights so have no real input there.
I do also like sugar ray, marvin hagler, and hector macho comacho
My all time favorite football player is Lyle Alzado.Man his attitude was awesome kill everybody and everything. But that was probably the roids.Greatest of all time heck no.

Wayne Gretzky for hockey plain and simple last of the true great hockey players.
I also liked Pavel Bure when he was around but he faded fast due to injuries.
“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”

Sorry...I cannot let these opinions go by...this is my territory...I have to defend my number one sport.

        Again...let me repeat this...

Who is the best fighter Tyson ever beat?

When you come up with the answer...you are all going to realize how weak Tyson's opposition was during his era.

Here's a little bit of a reality check...there was one heavyweight who also ruled during Tyson's era...big daddy Riddick Bowe (who defeated Holyfield twice outta three times...once by TKO).

        Riddick Bowe's record:

        Total fights 45
        Wins 43
        Wins by KO 33
        Losses 1
        Draws 0
        No contests 1

His Galotta fights were brutal though...and you know how they turned out.

Too bad Tyson vs Bowe never happened...that's when Tyson went to prison...that would've been one helluva fight.

What a shame...that could really have cemented Tyson's legacy...had he won against Bowe of course.

I understand where you're coming from Hector. I don't think necessarily think Tyson was the best fighter ever.

I'm just going primarily off the impressions and emotions of my teenage/early adult years. I just remember watching Tyson and thinking to myself, "no one can beat him."

He just SEEMED to hit so hard. That's what made an impression upon me.

Hey...nothing wrong with having different opinions my friend.

Yes...Tyson hit very hard...but I was more impressed with the quickness and speed of his punches...and he had perfect pivot technique...that's how he generated such power.

Foreman on the other hand was just a big and powerful man...I swear...his balance was awful (and very mechanical)...but his arm-punching was incredible...I mean...you are not suppose to generate that kinda power by just arm-punching...the guy was a freak of nature.

Yet look what happened to Michael Moore and Gerry Cooney.

Now I realize the meaning of your smilie.

The Foreman of the 90's put up one hell of a fight against a very prime Holyfield! By that Time Tyson was a shot fighter. Foreman rocked Holy plenty of times in that fight.

Ever an old Foreman hit like nothing else. If you stand in from of Foreman, who could take a great punch, he would destroy you. Just ask Michael Moorer. As far as beating Tyson, ummm no, Foreman would not be able to hit Mike with enough good shots. A lot of people forget about Mike's head movement and his elusiveness.

                        That's a possible scenario...I won't discount that.

Foreman was indeed slow and robotic...but very powerful.

Just last night, I was listening to local sports radio and a Dude called in to ask the hypothetical, "Who would win...Ali or Tyson, considering both were in there prime?".

The opinion was overwhelmingly Ali, given his "smarts". He would have found a way to beat Tyson. Ali could have gotten into his head and if there was a weakness to Tyson, it was that.

Plus Ali could take one helluva punch (so did Tyson though).

Ali could go the distance too. How many of Tyson's fights went past the first round?
