No guilt needed on your part... anybody who says you should feel guilty is bieng dishonest. You provided good info, and they didn't sell. In my opinion there is only one absolute when it comes to this: Things are only worth what sombody is willing to pay for them; at the time they are willing to pay. Guides and even ebay are only and idea of what it's worth. As a seller you make the choice to sell, if you do so without research Caveat venditor . I don't feel sorry for you...
In a similar situation, I have been selling peices from a fantastic haul I got last month... Now the seller at the Doll Show, had Barbies and Maddam Alexander priced with giudes and ebay prices and was obviously quite savvy to selling these pieces. Why then did she sell me '75 Orange Box Adventure team sets for $10? Who knows... and WHO CARES! I will net close to $2000 after it's all said and done off these and the other goodies I got, and I don't feel an iota of guilt about it.
If you were honest with this lady you shouldn't either... Good for you!
