The last one suffers from what I call the "One big Chase" syndrome.
ALot of movies us this now, check it out.
They use the first 15 mins to set the story up, introduce characters etc...
The next hour is loosly connected action scenes, usually there is a love scene or someother touching BS happens, then they build to the final of the movie. Zero plot ,character build up or anything of substance, just random effects shots loosly conjoined together. If IJ4 hadnt had the Indy name connected to it it would have went straight to video or Sci Fi channel.
It could have been Captain Bologna and and the Aztec aliens, no one would have gave a damn. Like they say, polish a turd.....................
