So I decided to forgo my usual meal stop on the way home from work (usually Chick-Fil-A, Wendy's or Popeye's) and go to BK instead. I figured this way if I had to buy a meal (which I did) fine. The first thing I noticed was that the price for "all 4" had been removed. I bought my meal and asked for glass deciding to leave it to chance. The guy came back with an Uhura and said it was the only one he had right now. I pretty much would have been happy with anyone except Nero and Uhura was my top pick anyway. I was glad to see the glass looked much thicker than theo nes they had back in the day that would break if you looked at them wrong. On a side note the meal was barely passable!
I see that the auction ended at a final bidding price of $23.00 and there was a total of four bids. Not a bad little turn for a $6.99 investment. Minus, taxes, eBay and Paypal fees. Now if this seller could done this all day long for say all this year the seller might actually be on to some decent profit.

I picked up another full set of glasses today from BK. Went to a different location today. Again I had no problems at this location either. They seemed to still have plenty of glasses and lots of toys left over from last week as of this writing. I also picked up two more different toys as well. I do not see any of this stuff being rare or HTF just yet anyways...

I forgot to add that the shuttle and tricorder were the two toys that I picked up today. This is still the toys from last week. I was told at this particular location anyway that they have to give out all of the old stock first before they can start giving out any of the new toys. ?????? Like everything else that I have read so far I am sure that it is a matter of which BK you go to as each seems to be operating by their own set of rules.
Have fun!

I double checked the BK in my area and they are $2.49 a glass and clearly stated on the poster even though the official BK site says $1.99.
My son had a soccer game about an hour away from our home Saturday and he wanted a set of glasses (and lunch). We stopped through the drive through and they were also $2.49 per glass with the price listed right on the sign. This one only had two of the four glasses and said they would be receiving the other two this week.
I can't figure out why the BK's in my area charge $.50 more per glass when the official BK site says $1.99. Not a big deal but I'm wondering if privately owned franchises are allowed to price theirs differently from everyone else.

I totally hear you on this. That sucks to pay more for something when it is advertised for less else where. Too bad shipping charges would suck for you or I would sell you one of my sets a my cost. Unfortunately, The darn shipping would eat you up though and you would be back to round one again. A no win situation. I wonder if it would do any good for you to call the company and ask them what is up with this deal? Who knows? They may just see it your way and cave and let you have them at said price of $1.99 each. Maybe even throw some coupons or something your way to boot for your troubles. ???? Just a thought.

There are times I will argue a point on principle but I figured even at $2.49 a piece, they are worth every penny and not worth complaining for $2.
Your not alone. I am all about principal as well. It is not so much the money involved it is the fact that one knows they are getting taken for a ride. That I do not like at all.

This coming week is the last week for the promo. The last of the four Trek BK toys will be officially out for the public. If you do not have all of yours yet it is getting to be crunch time. The toys and the glasses are moving at a rather fast pace at most of the BK's that I have been visiting. Most of the BK's here the glasses have been sold out. Just a word of caution in case anyone has been thinking about getting any.
