Well, there's nothing like high end chocolates (both European and local)...I go crazy for dark chocolate...it's my favorite.

But if we are going to focus on the mass produced stuff...then my personal favorites would be Three Musketeers, Milky Way Dark, Payday/Payday chocolate, M&M's peanuts, Recess Pieces, 1000 Grand, Kit Kat, and Rocky Road.

For some reason, I don't like Snickers, Baby Ruth, Butterfingers, Twix, and Mars Bar.

I don't like the plain Hershey bar much...if you try something like their higher end stuff...such as Cadbury...then you'll know why.

P.S. And for an authentic Mexican chocolate experience, I highly recommend trying either Ibarra or Abuelita hot chocolates. They are a staple in every Mexican household...they are great....

It's a very different type of chocolate...not meant to consume as is (too hard...there's no butter in the chocolate)...you need to take a piece...and melt it in a saucepan with milk (if you feel you wanna really drink like an Aztec, then use water instead of milk)...then blend the stuff...it comes out frothy...and it's delicious...especially with a pastry, lol.

Hershey's with almonds or dark chocolate. My wife is allergic to chocolate, tragic stuff.

My favorite is Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. But not the ones that have dried out peanut butter. Has to have some oil. You never know if you get it fresh like that until you bite into one. Goes great with a tall glass of milk. YUM!

Does anyone remember the Marathon bar? It was a 12" chocolate covered caramel bar that was like a long braided pretzel in shape with the diamond openings but flat. That was a good candy bar. At the time, the cost like 20-25 cents. But my memory is long.

I have to agree with Thomas, guys.
The US of A may trump little old Belgium on most things, but as far as chocolate is concerned, we rule.
Actually, I've done a couple of deals lately, even Megos, that I traded for our chocolate.

Want to hear something truly ironic? Lately, Belgium has been under international pressure do downgrade our quality of chocolate, because it's "unfair competition" towards other countries.
That's like saying: "make American cars crappier, so the Polish have a better change of selling theirs".

Anyway, you haven't tasted great chocolate until you've tried ours.
                                I rest my case.
Now where's my box of chocolates.....
                                .
                                .
                                .
