If the germ did this to his nose, what made him turn white then?
"Attack of the killer bleach?"
I still believe the theory that repeated surgeries have compromised the blood stream to his nose, causing it to "wither".
For that very same reason, I've never had a ***** reduction, though I could really use one...

Michael has asserted he has a skin condition that creates blotches (I forget the name but I'm sure someone else here knows), so he lightened his skin to remove the blotch. He insists he's proud to be black, and who can contradict him?

Boloney.
He aspires to be white.
Have you seen his kids?
Both blonde and not a trace of African ancestry...zero (that's the contradiction right there).
So you are to tell me Michael also changed his DNA?
Well, I have no explanation for his blond/white children, except that either 1) they aren't really his biological children, or 2) the pictures of them are not clear enough to tell the full story of their heritage.
Claiming he "aspires to be white" is incredibly presumptuous. I'm sorry, Hector, you're an easy-going guy and I've always appreciated your light-hearted humor, but you're way off base here IMO. You're presuming at least two things here: 1) That you have insight into another person's mind well enough to understand his unspoken beliefs and opinions, and 2) That Michael Jackson feels that whiteness is superior to blackness.
It is not presumptuous...it's right there in black and white (no pun intended)
I know many relatives who are the same as Michael...trust me...it's an inferiority complex thing...it's prevalent in Mexico as well.
Spaniards, superior...natives, inferior.
And why do people, when they disagree with me, have to say that I'm a nice guy and all?
Totally irrelevant to this conversation, lol.
Besides, he's a fifty year old man who loves to cuddle with kids...I could give a flying crap about him anyway...I have no respect for him...he is a creepy weirdo.

The name of the skin disorder is Vitiligo also known as Leukoderma. It is a chronic skin disease that causes loss of pigment, resulting in irregular pale patches of skin. It occurs when the melanocytes, cells responsible for skin pigmentation, die or are unable to function. The precise cause of vitiligo is complex and not fully understood.
Michael stated in an interview with Oprah Winfrey back in the early 1990's that he "evens out" his blochy skin pigmentation with make-up.
But there is no such thing (as far I know) as skin "bleaching" or skin "lightening". I don't know of the existence of any such medical or cosmetic procedure.
With Michael Jackson, I believe that (due to his eccentric and unusual ways) people have actually come to enjoy making up unusual stories about him that are just plain untrue to perpetuate the bizzare aspects of his personality.
After all, what's more "fun" to believe? That Michael Jackson suffers from a medically known skin pigmentation disorder that he cosmetically covers up with make-up -- OR that Michael Jackson with his wealth and fame has somehow developed a procedure for "bleaching / lightening" skin pigmentation that no one else has ever heard of or used themselves?
It may be cynically "fun" for some folks to believe the latter, but the truth is much more likely to be the former.
I agree that Jackson has a very strange and eccentric personality. I even agree that many aspects of his life are examples of poor judgement on his part. I'll even go as far as saying that he likely has some serious psychological (very possibly criminal) issues regarding his relationships with children.
However, I do not believe that he deserves to be infected with a flesh-eating virus.
That's just horrible.

Most likely scenario.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but isn't it odd that all his "conditions" always have as an end result that he "looks whiter"?
Skin paler, hair straightened, narrow nose, red lips....
Seems like a plan to me...
Honestly, I think he's totally messed up. Not his fault. He seems to have had a terrible childhood. I think he just wants to get away from his own identity. A man on the run from himself.
