oh, i totally agree that it's okay to target an audience other than men, but my wife was bored with this week too. I think the jokes really fell flat -
I have to admit I didn't like this episode as much, but I think it's because I was expecting the DD episode. Plus, I'm not a woman, and have never had to deal with the "bridesmaid" thing. My wife really dug it, which is great. It's okay that this show isn't targeted right at the male fanbase.Leave a comment:

this show gets weaker and weaker with each episode. hopefully DD will give some lift to it. the breaking the 4th wall stuff is getting old tooLeave a comment:

Lots of Easter Eggs with those sneakers this week. And that's not counting a certain yellow cowl at the end.Leave a comment:

Oh, definitely! Re-reading my previous post, it may have sounded like I was disagreeing with you. I just meant that it was all the funnier because I have heard or read most of those comments word-for-word. But you are right on... with the DA subplot and the news interview ("coming up next, She-Hulk's diet and exercise regime") and all that... clearly it was intentional satire.Leave a comment:

I think juxtaposing that with the poster child for toxic masculinity in the dude from the DA's office suing the Light Elf was part of the satirical skewering of the topic as a whole.

It wasn't so much "satirical skewering" as it was "repeating verbatim" posts from idiots on the internet. That was part of what made it so brilliant.Leave a comment:

I thought it was a brilliant satirical skewering of toxic fandom and both my wife and I laughed out loud at parts of it.

I love how Episode 3 stuck it to testosterone-overdosed fanboys who can't fathom a female-centric super hero show. Good on them.
That on top of just a fun, quirky show. It's just a hoot.Leave a comment:
