Charlie Cox is legitimately training with a MMA fighter to prepare for Daredevil:Born Again. -
The following will contain SPOILERS…
The Bixby homage was fantastic, loved it. They also used an actual tall person in makeup to play She-Hulk, brilliant, lol.
I did for the most part enjoyed the show. Didn’t love it, but didn’t hate it either.
The CGI was not the greatest. She-Hulk had an awkward video game walk to her, very jerky and unpolished.
I do like the Tatiana Maslany. She’s a good actress and is funny and engaging. Loved her Orphan Black show. This show was lighthearted in my opinion. I can see some parents (see Brown Bear) objecting to their daughters watching a character who’s often promiscuous and is constantly bar hoping and bedding multiple partners. But I don’t have kids, and didn’t bother me in the least. She’s sexually liberated, nothing wrong with that. I mean, that’s how She-Hulk is in the comic books.
Breaking the fourth wall is fine, just like Deadpool.
My biggest problem was not with She-Hulk herself. My main gripe is with Tim Roth’s Blonsky/Abomination character. What the hell happened to him? He was a baddarze British Royal Marine! Now he’s this Mr Rogers wannabe. And I also wanted to see a She-Hulk vs Abomination rumble…but nothing happened, bleh.
Oh, and Daredevil. Yeah, super stoke to see him again. But…sitcom Daredevil just didn’t sit well with me. Although the hallway fight was indeed better than the original Netflix one.
Teen Hulk, good gawd, lol. That was just plain bad, lol. Yeah, I know, slapstick, I get it, but I was still rolling my eyes, lol.
So yeah, many issues for me, but it’s okay, because I love Tatiana Maslany and I like her take on the She-Hulk.
I give it a 7 out of 10.Leave a comment:

Easily the highlight of the season for me

The show just turned out to be a big goof. Some of the eps were amusing (the ones written by Gao, mainly), others had me reaching for the F-F on the remote.
Still, I appreciate the effort to make something silly and off the beaten path.Leave a comment:

what a load of rubbish that was. glad it is over. for those that liked it, great. just wasn't my cup of teaLeave a comment:

I couldn't agree more!! I loved the fun break from the seriousness of most Marvel shows. I enjoyed how they weaved the her law job through the series ala Harvey Birdman. I think there's a lot of potential fun still there. I'm only about 15 issues into the Sensational She Hulk series and I think this TV series wonderfully picked up that ball and ran it into television.
And that finale... gamma-irradiated chef's kiss!! Sprytel is right. This will be divisive because it fully embraced everything about the show. If you didn't enjoy the show, this will probably be the worst episode yet. If you loved... well, you already know what I think!Leave a comment:

Man, I disagree with you guys. I thought the show was awful. Maybe it's because I watched it with my daughter who is looking up to a super hero woman who lands in a bar every episode, swears and sleeps with every guy she meets. I don't find the "cute" humor in this cute at all. I also don't think guys like me are their target audience so I get it that this show is intended to offer something a bit different. Regardless, I'm not a fan of this show at all. Now, Werewolf by Night - different story. LOVED that to pieces.
I'm happy the last episode dropped and I can suffer through it with my kids and put it in the rearview while I wait for a better show like Mandalorian.Leave a comment:

This show was underrated, in my opinion. Sticking the landing with the innovative ending and crying foul on finale tropes, while sticking it to the incels was brilliant.
The CG looked better in this one too, so maybe they'll do a patch and tweak the earlier episodes. Also bodes well for another season, or a movie appearance...despite what K.E.V.I.N. said.Leave a comment:

I think that finale is going to be divisive... but I thought it was bonkers in a good way. It was so unlike anything we have seen from Marvel to date. Even a show as experimental as Wanda Vision ultimately ended in a pretty conventional fashion. She-Hulk, though, I couldn't believe what I was watching. I didn't expect it (and it wasn't perfect, by any means) but it really made sense for the character and the story they were trying to tell.Leave a comment:

Well She-Hulk ended in the 80's style comic book. If you did not like it when she broke the fourth wall than you are NOT going to like the season finale.
Also The Hulk family just grew?!Leave a comment:

The DD hallway fight scene was more dynamic in She-Hulk than the more pedestrian one in the Netflix series (don’t get me wrong, I love Netflix Daredevil, but the fight choreography was the weakest aspect of the show).
The Netflix hallway fight scene in my opinion is highly overrated…it’s in fact pretty pedestrian…
Now Daredevil in She-Hulk is more like it, more MCU Captain America and Spider-Man comic book like…

I liked the lighter-toned DD for this. He's on a working vacation! Plus before Frank Miller, DD was a pretty care-free guy, and other writers like Mark Waid have returned to that in recent years.
I never thought the yellow and red suit could look good, but it does! I still prefer the red, but I bet this was probably a one-off look anyhow.
I somehow had every every appeareance of Eugene/Frog-Man/Leap Frog up through the late 80s. That's why I had to buy the Marvel Legends figure last year!Leave a comment:

they definitely lightened up DD for the Disney version. Fun episode though.Leave a comment:

Wonderful episode! I had a Spider-Man where he teamed up with Leap Frog when I was a kid, it was a riot.Leave a comment:
