    Batman vs Captain America

This fight intrigues me the most...more than Superman vs Hulk, more than Captain Marvel vs Thor, and so on...

The battle of the superhero darlings, the two that just will not lose.

Forget the comics, forget the opinion of others.

    WHAT'S YOUR PERSONAL TAKE?

    BATMAN VS CAPTAIN AMERICA?

Cap has super powers, Bats doesn't. I'd go for Cap.

Cap would be stronger, faster, have more stamina and he has fought in the war, Batman would lose this one I think.

I would say a draw, sincerely and honestly. Of course, todays Batman would cheat to win... (I'm considering Bronze comics versions.)

Batman always wins. Even against Chuck Norris.

Since when is Cap super-human, excluding perhaps not producing lactic acids/fatigue?

Capt. Marvel might beat Superman, a draw is a given.

I'm a Batman fan, but I'd never assume he could best a full-tilt, ticked-off Superman. Ridiculous at every level.

Seriously? Duh, his super soldier formula made him super powered. Have you ever seen "The First Avenger" movie?

A baby could defeat Superman with a pacifier made of Kryptonite.

Lon, don't be condescending, I'm not trying to start an argument. I've seen the film many times and read many comics, too. The whole concept of the serum is that it maximizes your potential.

Cap is a peak human, perhaps a "perfect" one, but not a super-human. He's not Spider-Man, but he's more capable than Black Widow or Hawkeye. Plus, he has an amazing skill-set augmented by perfect senses and judgment.

I think The First Avenger, BTW, is one of the best comics films EVER, but nothing in the MCU is canonical to me.

That's absurdly reductive and ignores the aggregate of Supes' abilities.

I'm sorry, my posts seemed to have rubbed you the wrong way today...

It made his bone structure change and added lots of muscle that wasn't there before, and made him taller. He was more changed than you admit.

I agree--extraordinarily changed, just not superhumanly so.
