True, so why bother creating Superman in the first place? nothing man made on earth can defeat him, but
toss a little Kryptonite at him and he's finished. Supposedly all traces of Kryptonite on earth was supposed to
be destroyed, but I guess it wouldn't be a story unless our hero had a weakness.

Batman defeats Superman with Kryptonite. Anybody could do that. Even a baby. It's silly of them to make that his weakness, is my point.
Sorry I don't put to make it seem lighter than it sounds. If you could have my inflection written into my comments, you wouldn't be so offended.

So, Cap is lamer than Batman because he has no powers and only has a shield. Cap sucks!

Didn't Batman defeat Cap in the DC vs Marvel crossover? or it ended as a draw with Bats saving Caps life?

Superman with all his powers should be able to defeat any hero DC or Marvel, comics or movies, but why have
heroes fight each other in the first place, unless one of them was drugged or hypnotized by the stories villain.

Doesn't say much for Batman, except as you say for Stark, his power is money. Kryptonite is not easily exploitable, nor instantaneous. And, not remotely as plentiful as silicon or even uranium.

                  Cap.

All he has to do is say, "My mom's name is Martha too." Then deck Batman when he's distracted.

The Marvel vs DC mini series had Bats and Cap fighting each other pretty much to a standstill but then Batman narrowly claims victory when Cap is briefly knocked out at the end of their fight.

The John Byrne crossover one shot also had them very evenly matched but Batman does admit to himself that Cap "almost seems to have a slight edge".

That's always the theory nowadays. It's made Batman a one-dimensional sociopath who's about as interesting as a celery-stick.

According to the Marvel Strength Scale, Captain America is considered superhuman level, capable of lifting 1200 lbs.
Peak human is someone like Crossbones (800 lbs), Punisher (550 lbs) or Kingpin (650 lbs). Spidey is at 20 tons...

Wow, they have sure Suped them up since my comic book reading days.

I still have those 80s copies of the Marvel Encyclopedia...they had Cap at 800+ pounds...Spidey at 10 tons.

I see now that they have been sort of doubled since those days...
