I love the new costume, it totally works for me.

it just looked way too CGI, maybe it isn't, but it didn't look real in any way to me.

From what I understand, a large percentage of the Spidey footage is CGI. I'm confident that once they are finished fully rendering those shots, it should look really good.

(I'm old, I was buying Spiderman comics before I could even read in the early 1970s, Romita is my fav artist, so it's not a generational thing, just my $.02)
the rest of the movie looks awesome.

I always thought the mask disguised his voice and no one could tell he was just a teenager by his voice.
going with an age appropriate actor is a great idea, let's hope it doesn't become muppet babies like you said!

but I think I'm more bothered by Marisa Tomei as Aunt May?? WTH?? will they give her a bad heart or something like her old movie?

It's definitely an insert, meaning the scene was not shot on location with the cast present. It's more likely a guy in a red or blue screen bodysuit in a secure lot away from the actual shoot. That guarantees no paparazzi shots.
