And yet again, STAR Labs' open door policy bites them in the butt. How did Trajectory know about the cells?
And why is Cisco such a wimp about vibing stuff when the information they get could be critical? Me, I'd be "accidentally" bumping into Caitlin constantly hoping to vibe a shower scene!

This last episode had me nodding off last night. I was really hoping for something more interesting after the mid-season layover. This felt like a filler episode. I'm not that informed on that villain but she seemed very generic to me.

I think this was a setup episode. I think much of what we saw is going to pay off down the line. I really hope Jay isn't REALLY Zoom, and it's involves the Earth-One Jay/Hunter Zolomon we saw several episodes back.

Clearly, Jesse getting an injection of V9 is a setup for her to get into the speed game.

I haven't had a chance to listen to it...I will...

But as much as I joke about it...it also annoys me to no end.

Seriously, I don't know how many more of these silly Star Lab breaches I can take...I mean, Cisco can track the Flash anywhere on Earth, yet he can't see someone coming to Star Labs...at least place a lock on the damn entrance door.

          Argh...

At this point, letting villains in seems more like policy than oversight . . .

A friend of mine and I were discussing this a few weeks back and at this point, we thing they should just embrace it and introduce the STAR Labs front desk security guard in a scene where he walks the villain back to the lab and announces the villain to the team after assuring them he's checked the villain's ID and signed him in up front.

^^ The security guard should be played by Barney from Raising Hope doing his best Don Knotts impression.

                ^^^

We were thinking Will Sasso channeling Chris Farley in thick glasses and an officious-but-incompetent demeanor, but yeah, that's the idea.

The security part honestly doesn't bother me, because I assume STAR is running on the crew we see only. Barry got enough in his inheritance from Wells to pay utilities and keep the lights on, and apparently pay Cisco and Katelin.

At least, that's how I work it out in my head.

And Barry's apparently like my son and can't lock -- or even close -- a door behind him, either

Regarding Zoom...my take is that Zoom is Jay Garrick, but not THE Jay Garrick. Zoom posed as Jay Garrick and he is the man they know as "Jay Garrick".

Anyone else understand it that way or is this pretty well established, at this point?

I think Zoom is the Hunter Zolomon we saw sitting on a park bench (cue Jethro Tull), who is the Earth-One Jay Garrick. That little nugget was all but forgotten by the characters, it seems. Plus, Zolomon is Zoom in the pre-New 52 DCU. I'm hoping that the good Jay is still alive.

I've been on the fence with this show now for a while. Yesterday I decided to give it a go and what can I say?..... I'm completely hooked! I've watched a season and a little bit of the second in the last 24 hours.
Popped out earlier this evening with the wife to do a bit of food shopping and I actually missed watching it.
So far though, I have to say that the first season is the better one.

^I really like Barry, but sometimes I want to punch him in his perfect teeth. Wait, wrong thing. I want to smack him a bit. He's so dumb sometimes. BUT, he's human, and he makes mistakes. In the end, I like that.
