What do you think the worst episode of Batman 66 was?

i think Nora Clavicle and the Ladies crime club from season 3 was the dumbest and worst episode. not to mention incredibly insulting to women
the whole plot was just ridiculous and the scene with Batman, Robin and Batgirl leading the mice away by playing the flute was so bad it was almost funny

        1. Nora Clavicle. Offensive and dull.
        2. Minerva. The series ended on a whimper; could have been a better Siren or Marsha episode.
        3. FFogg. Vallee is so miscast, and wasn't that a three-parter? Ye gods. Could have been more fun with a real scenery-chewer like Buono or Price.
        4. Archer. Again miscast--Carney is straining to find a tone, and the Merry Men shtick was done better elsewhere in several Penguin episodes.
        5. Many season three Joker capers--ugh.

I will go out on a limb and say that the best things about season three were Batgirl & Louie the Lilac. I also like the Puzzler episode. I know it's a Riddler re-write, but Maurice Evans hits the mark and the production values soar.

I did not mind the Archer, he was goofy but fun. seems to me they were trying to bring in more female villains for batgirl to fight because B&R would never hit a woman. the Fogg episodes were bad too, just plain dumb.

Nora Clavicle is indeed the worst episode. Backgrounds were sparse to begin with in Season 3 but the scene on the docks is just pathetic. And the death trap has to be the stupidest ever.

              ^ Yeah, there's a fine line between surreal/expressionistic and cheap-looking sets.

Nora Clavicle without question was the worst episode of the series, followed by Minerva, and wasn't big on
the 3 part London episode, Lord Fogg and Lady Prudence or something like that, didn't think it was necessary
to have them solve a crime in another country. The Jokers flying saucer was silly but better than the other (3)
mentioned, "are you talking into your handkerchief?"

The best thing about season (3) was of course Batgirl and also Eartha Kitt Catwoman and her cats purr gargle,
plus the fact she was playing the role completely opposite Newmar, Kitt had no romantic interest in Batman
and she played the role more sinister.

Nora Clavicle, all the way. I recently rewatched this one, and it's as bad as everyone says. The comedy is off, so it just comes across as insulting. Batgirl is the only competent female in Gotham? She is unaffected, but every other woman is just obsessed with shopping, afraid of mice, etc.

The Lord Ffog three-parter is just too damn long. The angle with the girl's school for criminals and Lady Peasoup aren't bad, especially since the girls are after Robin, who has no clue what to do with them. Apparently Rudy Vallee was a real pain in the neck to work with too, according to Yvonne Craig.

Amen Chris!!!The Lord Fogg episodes bore me to sleep (even in high def). I thought they overplayed the comedic irony bit with the London version of Gordon's office, the convenient "Batcave", and the Wayne Foundation crate that brought over the Batmobile (and Dick's complete library). A little too lean on artistic license for humor. It played more like a low budget compromise than a true attempt at comedy. And what's the point of the fog pipe if they're only using it after they have committed the crime? You would think that would be their cover during the crime.

Season 3 descended into a full-on lampoon of the early seasons of the show. Sometimes it worked (Surf's Up, Joker's Under) but many times, it didn't (Nora Clavicle and the Londinium Larcenies).

I wish more had been done with girl's crime school. In fact, had they excised Ffog and just had Lady Peasoup and the girls for one or even two episodes, it would have worked better.

I don't hate the Londinium episodes but a 3-parter was a bit too much. Lord Ffogg and his assorted cohorts seem more fitting as villains for the Monkees, who often dealt with bizarre bad guys. In fact, I had an idea for a Batman '66/Monkees cross-over where Lord Ffogg and that "European villain" The Sandman team-up and try to mind control The Monkees, who are on tour in England. Apparently, Davy Jones is the heir to a vast fortune. At the end of the adventure it's revealed that the mind-control gas came from
a Professor Jonathan Crane from the U.S.

^Nice Anthony! I like it! As long as the Monkees become the Monkee-Men in the story.

Oooooh! I forgot all about the Monkee Men. It'll work though. Since Batgirl was already established in Ffogg's first appearance, she can come along for the ride too and the 3 Gothamites can face off against the mind-controlled Pre-Fab Four. In costume. Trippy, groovy, mod- this one has all that. In my mind at least. :(
