    Sarah was a teen when they did "this is your life" in 1957, so it's probably not her.

      That is my childhood right there. The other thing that bugs me about this photo is I know that no retailer would allow such a full display of print material now. Trust me on that one...

        Yeah, I remembered she was born while Karloff was filming "Son of Frankenstein" so it couldn't be her.

        I actually had a magazine spinner rack that came from Rite Aid (my future mother-in-law worked at the local store, and hooked me up). I had it in my parents house in the later days of high school, and while I was off to college. After I married it ended up in my parents' basement, and before we bought our house my dad asked if he could throw it out. With no place to really put it, I caved. It wasn't really a comic rack per say, with digest spaces up top, and tabloid sized magazine racks as well, but it still worked nice to display stuff. Oh well.
