Much much to the chagrin of my lovely wife, my spinner rack sits full of trade paper backs in the upstairs living room with a Boba Fett helmet on top. How on Earth I've managed that feat I will not know as downstairs is my "nerd" domain.

My local grocery store (Wegmans) still has a spinny rack full of comics. Fun kid friendly titles too like Simpsons and Scooby-Doo.Comment

My old timey spinner rack ("Hey Kids! Comics!") is crammed in my toy room (half blocking the doorway!) filled with underground comix and EC reprints.
I'd love to get a pile of cheap, beat up 70's era Marvel comics someday and fill my spinner rack with them, that would remind me more of my childhood trips to the variety store.

I used to have Casper and Little Lulu comics. I remember in 1990 when I moved to WI for awhile and I went to my local convenience store (name escapes me), and I saw the spinner rack with Archie on the top "Hey Kids! Comics! $1.00" I nearly fainted. A DOLLAR?? Whatever to getting comics w/ pocket change? I had gotten a huge stack of 70s Archie comics for a quarter each at Rummage-O-Rama, and these titles cost $1? Now I only wish they were that cheap nowadays.

Only 80 bucks too! Just as I was pulling out my $$$ to buy it, Brian reminded me that we would have to get it across the border, so I passed.
I think it went home with the right person, IIRC Art/Mego Milk bought it.
I wonder if he put it in his store, Aw Yeah Comics?
