he could just be arguing in his spare time.

or I could be sharing my opinion like everybody else here.

I never read in the forum rules that I have to agree with everybody and everything to post?
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

That's a good idea, I'm throwing that clause in there for everybody.

After looking closely at the scene posted I believe the fx artists' intent was a small tribute to Chris as well.

Fair enough, as long as it applies equally.

Wait'll you try my Apple Dumplings.

That is not a double entendre, my family's recipe for apple dumplings is unbelievable.

I don't love the Reeve movies as great movies. However, they were a notable part of my superhero-lovin' childhood. I agree with some of your criticism... but then again, Man Of Steel wasn't the solution to the Reeve movie flaws. Superman movies can be lighter than MOS, and they, along with being lighter, can still be more true to the character's core than MOS... the recent Superman animated movies prove that.

The main motivation for me addressing your post was that I was calling you out on bashing the quality of the Reeve films as if it was related to the idea of Reeve's image being used in the new movie as a tribute to him and his fans. I don't see the connection.

The movies that that actor was in is a whole other subject... It's just an image seen or unseen.

                    And we have moved on.

Just as I don't blame anybody for accusing me of starting an argument by simply addressing your concerns, point by point, please respect the fact that I don't care for the Reeve films.

MOS, to me is the first good Superman film, precisely for the fact that it moved away from the Reeve films. To me, it IS the solution.

And this film doesn't need to be a tribute to Reeve and his fans (and in no way is it), that was the precise reason the LAST movie failed!

I thought I saw Reeves in that scene when I saw it in the theater. I just kind of brushed it off. Now seeing it in that clip I to agree to seeing Reeves in that shot.

You're talking about "a whole film" vs. "a few hidden frames".

I'm sure you can see the difference in that.

Those few frames, then, must carry a lot of weight with you.
Well, I guess I applaud your "Superman passion" if anything else.

I wonder if we'll ever have a definitive answer if Reeve is in those frames.... Tarantino STILL won't spill on Pulp Fiction's briefcase contents.

I just think it is ridiculous. They don't insert Adam West or Michael Keaton into DKR.

Actually, I wouldnt have had a problem with that. It would depend on how its done. I was annoyed that almost every major character in Batman Begins was a big star. Alfred was miscast no matter how good people may think Micheal Caine is.
