I'll be there for the first showing, no doubt. I was expecting a better trailer than this, but it's still good. They had 2/3 of it Clark "finding" himself. Save that for the film, show me some action that isn't a bunch of one second cut shots. This preview was a bit lazy if I'm being honest. It's still, without doubt, my most anticipated movie, I just thought I'd be foaming at the mouth excited...
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I have seen the trailer almost frame by frame (I know, I'm a real groupie, lol)...and the one with Zod...I saw three others as well (perhaps one of them will die on the trip to Earth)...so they total four Kryptonians...and they were in cuffs (set on Krypton)...so it's the same story...escaped baddies going after Supes.

Can you seriously remember and hum the theme music to yourself?

I can't, I've seen the movie like six times (I do like the movie), and I still can't remember how the theme goes, lol.

Just because it's Horner's, doesn't make automatically good.
I can and do hum it all the time. Have the CD and listen to it in the car often. It's a fantastic piece of work...very emotional and uplifting. In fact, it replaced Willow as my favorite score by Horner.

Hans Zimmer's themes are easier to remember because of his minimalist approach to scoring. He often distills his themes down to just the most basic emotions. Batman's theme is literally two notes. He really kept his compositions simple for the DK trilogy. Personally, I like his Sherlock Holmes theme much better. Discombobulate is brilliant.

So... on Krypton, the El family symbol means "hope"?

^I believe that had been established previously, maybe on Smallville (Hector faints).

No, he's not. James Horner's Spider Man score was terrific, and his best score in decades. It was uplifting, harmonic, and heroic, which is precisely what a superhero score should be.

BTW, not really talking about Horner's score per say, but focusing more on Spidey's theme music.

                        My question...

                        What theme music???

                        That's my main gripe.

I'll send you a copy of the Spanish version. It sounds completely different. You'll love it.

Yes, Costner saved that soundbite/scene moment.

Regardless of where it was brought in... it's an awesome, awesome idea that uses the concept that was established in the Reeve era of the "S" not really being an "S".

The idea of it being a symbol of hope is just... well... "perfect".
