^Me either, but I heard several folks say they wondered if it was just in Alfred's head. I think it's pretty obvious that what Alfred saw was real.

^^^ I never thought that was possible because the revelations of what Wayne did were told as separate events - The pearls missing from the inventory count; The navigational equipment for auto-pilot fixed; and Robin following the navigational settings to the bat cave. Plus it doesn't make any sense that Alfred would then dream of Wayne being with Selina since he never really knew anything about her or how they bonded as Batman and Catwoman when he was not there.Leave a comment:

I haven't watched the film yet, but the Batmobile documentary is fantastic.

The movie looks incredible on Blu ray transfer. Since Nolan shot so much of it with IMAX cameras, the effect is stunning. Awesome movie.Leave a comment:

^Well...you did! But then they had a nice little uplifting twist. At least, I thought they did.

I remember sitting in the theater and wondering why Pryor was in this, and why the movie was so goofy. The whole opening scene with all the sight gags is actually fairly humorous, but who wanted all of that in a Superman movie? I was 8 and felt like I was somewhat cheated, although I did love the Clark/Evil Supes battle, and any scene with Annette O'Toole.
I remember being equally flummoxed by Supergirl. I thought Helen Slater was great, but the rest was just a mess. It's a mess that makes more sense now that I've seen the director's cut, but it's still a mess.

They chose to do that instead of bringing in Brainiac?
Theres a few good parts in it, but it was still a huge disappointment. Even as a kid I was unhappy with it.

^Without a doubt, but everyone has a few misfires. The producers always blame it on the fact that they expected Pryor to ad-lib more, and he didn't. And to think they scrapped plans for Brainiac for this.

Richard Pryor's role and performance in Superman 3 suck, but Pryor was a fantastic comedian.Leave a comment:

Well if it's about Batman's career, I think the third installment suggests it continues. It takes some interesting ideas and molds them into some fascinating possibilities. With Gotham in charge of the Wayne estate, Batman essentially becomes a part of the process with Robin adopting the role. And with so many of the high level criminals back out on the streets, that calls for another dose of Batman and Gordon. I like the fact Wayne is able to do something worthwhile and still have a life. It's a great ending, without ending the Batman hero in that story.Leave a comment:
