Andrew Garfield wants Spider-Man to be part of Avengers sequel

My theater has 10 screens. It's been three weeks and we're still giving the Avengers three screens. It started with four. Imax, two in 3D, then a 2D. If they were to make Spider-Man and the Avengers (you know that's what they'd call it) it would probably have to open with five screens! Throw Wolverine in there too and theater employees everywhere might have a nervous breakdown...

It's what propelled Avengers comics to the top of the sales charts, and spun off a dozen more Avengers titles... by adding in Wolverine and Spidey after disassembled. It's the same reason Secret Wars was such a runaway hit back in the day. People just want to see all their favourite heroes together in one place. Heck it's the formula that worked for the justice society, justice league and the original Avengers!

In June 2012, producer Avi Arad said he is open to the idea of having Spider-Man from the upcoming 2012 reboot appear in a future Avengers sequel, thus creating a crossover between the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Sony's Spider-Man franchise, but no deal has been made as of now.

Come on Sony, Avi wants it, Andrew wants it, the fans want it, it's all on you now!

And an update on Thor 2:

In June 2012, Joshua Dallas announced that he will not be reprising the role of Fandral due to his commitment on the television show, Once Upon a Time. The same day, The Hollywood Reporter reported that Marvel was eyeing Zachary Levi to replace Dallas. Levi was originally up for the role in the first film but had to bow out due his commitment on Chuck.

Too bad about Dallas, I liked him. Hopefully Levi will be just as good.
