Carter's acting was fine for the time. TV didn't ask as much out of lead actresses (or actors) on most shows at the time. I'd say her performance measures up to most of the actresses on Charlie's Angels (esp. Farrah). Lindsay Wagner seemed to be a better actress than most of her peers.

I always thought Christina Hendricks would make a great WW. She is pretty, curvy and can act.
I agree.
I also liked her take on WW. Everyone nowdays seems to want an aggressive angry WW. I want a strong, smart and compassionate WW. I don't want her torturing thugs in a hospital or murdering security guards in blind rage like in that terrible pilot.
Lynda's WW didn't loose her temper. She wasn't a mindless killing machine. WW is not a crazed vigilante. She is not the Punisher or Batman with breasts.You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. I always felt Lynda took the part seriously. Her acting really does improve near the end of the show. The shows main problem was the limited budget. Because of it they couldnt really have WW do anything really spectacular so the show ended up being written around Lyndas appeal. I will always like the way she carried the role and it might make it hard for me to watch someone eles play the character. Thats probably one the reasons im in no big hurry to see that pilot.

Gaby Ramirez did some very memorable Wonder Woman themed pics.
She wouldn't be ideal for the role in a WW movie, but she looks damn good in that spray on costume.
