At one point in the comic books, Steve Rogers was the artist on the Captain America comic book published in the marvel universe.
The talk of worm holes in relation to the cosmic cube at the end of Thor pretty much guarantees that is how the Skull ends up in contemporary times.
howling commandos were great.
Was kind of hoping we'd see a robotic Arnim Zola with the video screen on his chest of his face... Nice nod in his intro scene though.
This is undoubtably Ed Brubaker's Bucky. Hope we see the Winter Soldier in a Cap sequel.

Yeah Steve Rogers is an artist, just like his creators.I saw the display case, and thought it might be an Easter egg, but wasn't sure who it was. I'm not overly familiar with the android Human Torch. Who was the old lady in the antique shop?
There were also little nods to the TV movies. At least once, I saw Cap stick his shield on the front of the motorcycle. I don't know if Cap was an artist in the comics, but I noticed him sketching, which I recall him doing in the TV movies as well.Leave a comment:

OK I got most of these, the Human Torch threw me off in a "was that the human torch?" way.Leave a comment:

I'm thinking that's a covert way to sneak Vision into the Avengers movie, even just a cameo.Leave a comment:

I remember the scene, but I didn't notice who it was. Thats really neat.
I loved the part where "Hitler" is sneaking around on stage and Cap slugs him, just like the iconic comic book cover.Leave a comment:

I still haven't seen X-Men:First Class (I know, I know, but you gotta choose your movie excursions when you have a 3 year old to consider), but I didn't see anyone outside of Cap's corner of the Marvel U, other than the brief appearance by the Torch.
And they don't call him the Human Torch. But it's clearly him.

Any cameos from heroes from other Marvel films such as the (happily) unexpected one in X-MEN: FIRST CLASS?Leave a comment:

At the "World's Fair" where Bucky took Steve the night before he shipped out. He was standing in a glass tube in the middle of the room, in his red outfit, just like in Marvel Comics #1 (and Marvels)!Where was the Human Torch?

Captain America: WITH spoilers
Okay, if you haven't seen it, please turn away now!!!
Okay, who saw the Human Torch? And not Chris Evans, but the android?
Arnim Zola! He even had an abnormally large head!!! How cool is that?
Camp Lehigh!
The old chick at the antique shop!
Man there are so many easter eggs in this movie I was expecting a basket to be waiting on my coffee table when I got home.
So who thinks the Red Skull got sucked into one of the Nine Realms?
I loved the use of the classic uniform. It actually looked pretty good!
Okay now I'm just rambling. Let's Rap About Cap!!!
