Yep. He magnetized Cap's shield and it through off it's balance, so Cap got rid of the tech. Of course we're talking about the movies here so continuity with the comics is out the window.

As someone who has worn glasses since I was 8 you'd be surprised how different you look without them. Especially if the people you see everyday never see you without them.

No one really knows how Batman manages to just appear and disappear in front of Jim Gordon, and I don't want to know!

Just like how none of his friends recognize Clark Kent is Superman!

Well, yeah. When I have my glasses on, nobody REALLY knows I'm Matt Smith, either!

BTW, just saw it a couple hours ago and really liked it. Man, did they get the shield throwing right or what? And the skinny Steve really showed how CGI can be our friend. Excellent movie.

Ok i just managed to hop on here for a few, and I saw it opening night. I loved the Jim Hammond in the tube! but it seemed like i was the only one in the theatre that saw it...
my only gripee were the exclusion of Nick Fury (they could have tossed sgt fury in and said Jackson fury was named after Nick...) and the Bucky Debacles... both how he fit in, and how he died. Other than that Perfect Cap film. they did a nice job augmenting the believability of the character, in a movie sense.

I would guess whatever they did to Bucky will figure in his comeback if they use him as the winter soldier.
