I didn't see her. There is a huge crowd scene where you see a lot of the GLs, and you can identify most of them. She wasn't one I picked out.

Based on the mixed reviews; I think I am going to wait it out. With a family of five; it needs to be a killer movie for me to drop the money and I'm not feeling the vibe right now.
Do what you gotta do, but so far it seems everyone posting here liked it and felt there money was well spent.

Same. If the folks here don't love it, it's not worth it to me. I'll catch it in the local rep theatre for $6 soon enough.

This movie was great! Right up there with Batman begins and the Dark Knight.

I just saw it and being Green Lantern Fan...I liked it a lot! Reynolds was perfect as Hal, and Mark Strong was "dead on" as Sinestro(loved it every time he was on screen)! Now...I'm not sure how well this movie will go over with non comic book fans. It's definitely geared towards the Comic book community...and not the general movie goer.

The only other thing I would add is that it does suffer from what all comic book movies suffer from(except Batman Begins)...and that's the fact that it's an origin story and you have a lot of exposition setting up the characters and Universe that they live in. But I expected that and loved every minute of it!

I had a really good time watching this movie. It was awesome to see all the people come out in GL shirts and rings. I'm more excited about the sequel given how much I like Sinestro.

Same here! I think for live action, Green Lantern works best in Space as a Sifi-Movie.

                  BK's Offical Lantern Guy Review

If your A Fan of the Character, Read the Comics And love the Universe of the Corps... Go SEE This . The Critics Have thier Head Up thier Arses with the BS Reviews of This Film.

                  The Suit ...
Pics of this Suit doesn't give What you actually see on screen any Justice Whats so Ever. This Suit works, works well and is just Awesome to see in Action.

Anytime you see Green Lantern, Aliens, The Corps Members, Space or the Many, Many, Many Costructs He makes with His Ring, it's just so well done, and really acts as if you are reading a Comicbook. They really pushed the limits with the Constructs.

I believe Reynolds as Hal Jordan. It works for me..., but I am also a fan of his other Movies, and Work.

Kilowog is just Awesome. The Surprise for me was His Voice. I didn't realize that's who was gonna do it.

Some scenes with Hector Hammond Do Drag. Those are your Hick-up Points. I think that if this Movie had a Noticable Flaw .., It would be the fact that there just was too much character Development with Hector's Character..., And I think it leaves Fans and Movie Go'ers just not caring as Much.

There was 1 rushed, put together part wrong to me ...
It's the Seen where Jordan, is thinking about what Abin Sur say's to him ... But then the Next scene, he just Magically Knows where Hammond is ...., There's something totally missing there imo.

Carl was Hot ..., and far believable as the character I've been reading in the books too.

To Me .., This is by Far the Best DC Movie I've seen, Since I 1'st saw the Origional Superman Movie with Chris Reeves when I was 5. I've never really liked any of the Batman Movies, they just are not there completely to my Idea of Batman ... However Green Lantern Delivers for me.

I hope this Flick gets the Support it deserves. And it deserves a ton of it.
Now I'm off to get the lastest 2 Movie Master figures.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

I agree! I loved the movie too, seen it today at 4pm. I hope they have Carol as Star Sapphire in the next movie! We know Sinestro will be in the next one for sure.

I liked Thor too but not as much as Green Lantern but to be fair I have always loved Green Lantern.

Del I agree why did the Guardians agree to that? hmmmmm

Just got back from seeing Green Lantern. I'm completely convinced that most of the critics that slammed this film, LIED about actually seeing the movie. The supposed "complaints" about uneven script, bad dialogue, contrived story, and lack of chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are completely unfounded. Folks, this movie is the best film I've seen this summer. An absolutely terrific movie. After seeing it in 2-D, we almost went back into the theater to check it out in 3-D! I don't think I've felt that way about a film since I was a kid. The opening sequence explains the Lantern universe very well and then moves directly into the events which lead to Hal Jordon's reception of the ring. The scenes of the vast universe with the Lantern Corps are superb and certainly touched the child in me. It felt as if someone opened this huge comic book and brought it too life in a way I had never seen. The effects were impressive.

Ryan Reynolds is completely convincing as Hal Jordan and brings a refreshingly natural performance to material that most lead actors would overact and come across unrealistic. You completely BELIEVE Reynolds is Hal Jordan. And his relationship with Blake Lively is well constructed but, unlike most hero films, does not follow type and have her dashing after her hero. Blake's character is a reluctant participant that evolves with events in a natural manner that serves both character development and story responsibilities. Her chemistry with Reynolds is appealing and balances events in the story in a meaningful way that are not superficial.

As for Mark Strong, all I can say is he IS SINESTRO! I loved him. He nailed it and then some. He stole every scene he was in because he screen presence was exactly as you would envision the character. And once again, the director uses this character AGAINST type and doesn't permit him to fall into a predictable pattern of story gestures intended to lead to a probable outcome. Sinestro is arrogant, but not one dimensional. He is critical of Hal, but without the boring 'mentor' template we see in other hero franchises. His criticisms are well founded and fit within the logic of the Lantern Corps discipline. A fantastic casting choice that is well written in this film.

The character of Hector Hammond is more pivotal to the story than most critics apparently understood. His story responsibilities are enormous in bringing the "fight" to Hal Jordan. I'll leave that ambiguous note alone until more people have seen the movie. Suffice to say, without Hector Hammond, this story could not have thread together the other plot points in the final chapter.

There is so much I could write about the story and other characters, but I will leave it there. This film is incredible and has been done a complete disservice by critics who lambasted the movie for qualities that I never found. Whether your a fan of Green Lantern or simply looking for a classic summer film, this movie is one you should NOT miss on the big screen. Go see it. You'll be glad you ignored the critics. Oh... AND DON'T LEAVE UNTIL YOU SEE THE BONUS SCENE DURING THE CREDITS!
