I think the creators always wanted those two, but Batman was tied up in movie development and then the Nolan movies. Heck, it's why the show went from a "Young Bruce Wayne" pitch to Smallville. The Superman movie franchise had been stalled longer, so Warners didn't mind them messing in that playground.
Up until this recent TV development, WW has been in movie development for decades. I am surprised she didn't make it on at some point. Close as we got was Erica Durance dolled up for that comic convention episode...

Was a fun episode. Loved the references to Wonder Woman and Batman. How many episodes do we have left?It was like that when I got here.Comment

I'd love to see a Green Arrow spin-off. I think it would be perfect for TV, using Grell's series as a template. They could use Chloe instead of Black Canary, or just drop Chloe.
The special effects wouldn't be as costly and the writers could grit it up, which might draw some more viewers.Comment

Yeah, it's a no-brainer for a GA series, which is why WB won't do it.
It may have something to do with David Goyer's "Super Max" movie still hanging out there. Since he's delivered the goods on the Batman franchise and co-wrote the Superman script, WB may be trying to appease him by keeping this somewhat alive.

You'd think with only a few shows left they would try to do something exciting besides have Zatanna spike their champagne or keep throwing/using the Blur name. Didn't we see a show where Clark put on glasses and acted like a weeny? He forget about that?

I liked the Conner episode. I was kind of wondering if Tess wouldn't kill Lionel, but then I thought how poetic it would be for Lex to kill Lionel again when Rosenbaum returns. Even more ironic if Lionel gets him revived through Darkseid. I still wonder if the real Lex was ever really dead though...
