Superman for casting reasons mainly. I mean, has there ever been a better on screen hero than Christopher Reeve?

I'll have to go with Superman as well. With '66 Batman taking second. I was never a fan of the Tim Burton et al movies. It's all good!Comment

There are MANY actors that I can seriously appreciate what they brought to the role of their respective character (the list is long, but some of the notables are Michael Chiklis, Robert Downey, Jr., etc....) but, Reeve as Supes looked like he stepped off the pages of the comic and always showed respect for the role/character.Last edited by saildog; Dec 13, '09, 10:34 PM.Comment

Batman 66,then superman, then the phantom(billy Zane)“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

Superman the movie
the effects shots still hold up pretty well and the end of the Flight date scene where the use of rear projection for superman flying away and no cut to Clark at the door makes it so beliveable
the style varries from some classic superman but the basic story isn't that fay off the traditional origin story.
and Chris was a grat casting no doubt about it
the Captain america straight to video with matt salinger came out in 1990 and it was so very shot in vhs tv movie like (almost as bad as Nick Fury with the hoff)Comment

I would got with Superman as well....with Burtons Batman closely behind. the Batman movie is dated to watch now but at the time it was a very well made filmComment
