how good it is remains to be seen. I just read the first books too. they weren't bad but damien is really annoying. I hope they either "mature" him quickly or kill him off quickly....I am also not sure about Tim as Red Robin. They seem to have had Tim age several years all of a sudden, like he is now in his twenties

It's fine if people are talking about it but if everyone is not BUYING it then they aren't doing their job 100%....word of mouth or spirited debate is good but only if it translates into sales. It's still a business after all....

That might be some all fine & Dandy new Sales Pitch,... However I personally do not buy any of it. Bruce took Dick in,.. for 1 reason Only. Dick watched his Parents Die infront of his Eyes,.. Same as Bruce. Bruce Felt Sorry for Dick, and felt he needed to Help,.. because he could.

Right....the 8-year old inner child in Bruce Wayne saw a kindred spirit in Dick Grayson due to the tragic events of the Flying Graysons deaths and thought he could help. I don't think it was his Batman persona thinking long-term about a replacement in the case of his demise when he adopted the boy.

That might be some all fine & Dandy new Sales Pitch,... However I personally do not buy any of it. Bruce took Dick in,.. for 1 reason Only. Dick watched his Parents Die infront of his Eyes,.. Same as Bruce. Bruce Felt Sorry for Dick, and felt he needed to Help,.. because he could.

Oh I don't dought any of that...of course he saw himself in Dick Grayson, and felt sorry for him. But I still feel Bruce has always thought of Dick as more than just the Heir to the Wayne Fortune...but as Heir to the Cowl as well.

Since Corner Died,.. & Tim's Dad was Killed, & at the Time, Bart Died,.. & Then the Spoiler or whatever her name was,.. Tim has been distancing himself more & More from reality these Last few yrs,.. & Has Become Bruce in so Many Ways.

Now that Conner and Bart are back, will that lighten Tim up a bit??

If Dick just turns his back on Damian, he would create an enemy he will eventually have to face. If he can train him to be a force for good that doesn't behead crappy b list villians, it will be a better world.

If you think about it...Batman does everything with a purpose. So...the minute he took Robin in as his Ward, and began training him...he had already decided Dick would one day take his place, were he to die in Battle.
