I'm not sure Deadman will be an actual Black Lantern, although they do show him with a Black Lantern costume on the cover image to BN: Batman #1.

Personally, I've never cared for the Kelly Jones Skeletal Deadman look that Alex Ross pushes. And apparently that's the look DC is continuing to use, in keeping with Dan Didio's crusade to incorporate every single molecule of Kingdom Come into the mainstream DC Universe. I much prefer Neal Adams' version.

I didn't mind the skeletal Deadman in the context of those stories....but I agree that for me mainstream Deadman looks best when he's drawn in the style of Neal Adams and Jose Luis Garcia Lopez.
