Blackest Night #0...guess the hands

ON the last page it shows the Black Lanterns rising from the ground fists and hands raised with their new rings. Let's see how many we can collectively get as a group.

Obviously Martian Manhunter's is there as well as Aquaman. In the front right it looks like Mirror Master's arm, but he isn't dead is he?

Also, the very fron row has a black sleeve and white glove looking a lot like a GL uniform. Is this the possible return of Abin Sur? That would rule to bring him into continuity and maybe have him lead the Blue Lanterns or something even cooler.

Just speculation on my part, but I haven't been this excited about a crossover event before. I'm thankful they put in a checklist, cause I'm sure I'd have missed an issue or two.

By the way, Infinite Crises became a "whatever" for me, but this "Blackest Night" thing......well, I'm more than willing to give it a chance. Besides that, they are playing into The Flash: Rebirth a little.

The original Mirror Master, Samuel Scudder, died during the Crisis on Infinite Earths. He was succeeded by Evan McCulloch. So I'm assuming Scudder will return from the dead.

Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, & Earth-2 Superman are the three in front. I think the one on the far left is the original Tatooed Man, an old GL villain. Right to left them:
Under Martian's is a small thin hand- Katma Tui? The original Mirror Master is next in line (Sam Scudder died during the original Crisis). Ronnie Raymond, the original Firestorm. No clue on the red sleeved hand next. Abin Sur next, that looks like a GL arm? Then the brown gloved hand- Original Spectre? No idea on the last red sleeved arm- Sue Dibny? And the blue hand next to Aquaman- Batman? It looks like Black Hand dug the skull out of his grave.

I thought it was pretty cool that Johns , Kinda Sorta cleaned up some of the Aquaman W T F goings ons....
It was also cool the Book came with a Checklist.... Looks like there is gonna be some Dead Titans comming Back too... Conner, Tera Maybe Power Boy .

I can't wait for this...., But for now I am also digging the Orange Lantern & His Uncontrolable Greed LarFleeze .... I think He is Fantastic.

Not so fast on Conner.....He just showed up recloned/rebooted in Legion of 3 Worlds #4 (If you're not reading this book guys....WHY NOT?!), so I'm not sure if he'll be a Black Lantern. Unless of course we get 2 Superboys running around or he re-dies somehow in Lo3W #5.

It takes far too long for that book to come out for me.
I am waiting for the Trade, which will probably be when,.. or soon after Issue 5 hits the Shelf.

I did enjoy it as a small character interlude with Barry and Hal, although I do wonder if this is that accessible to new readers encountering it for FCBD. Not much action, lots of continuity being hashed out in dialogue between the two characters. I did think the intro pages to the various color corps works well.

Not critical....it will be resolicited for sale though shortly before the launch of Blackest Night #1
