Couldn't be that bad if it made $35 million already.

Iron Man sucked, The Hulk sucked. I had low expectations for this movie, but it did what it was supposed to do. 4/5 because I hated Tyler Kitsch's accent.

        I'm confused now.
I liked Ironman and the new hulk movie so if you didn't like them and you liked wolverine I'm not sure now If I should go see it...
Kidding of course I'll be hitting it next week.

          Wolverine

Saw Wolverine today. I liked it. Never been a Wolverine fan, though. Wolverine, Punisher, Lobo. Meh.

I didn't go into it with a lot of baggage or a preconceived idea. There are some things I wonder about; like does his nose have an on/off switch. If he said he was going to kill Stryker and Sabertooth - why would he back down from that?

I liked Iron Man. Of course I haven't really read anything since the Demon in a Bottle days. I read The Ultimates. Past tense. Some Avengers off and on. Mostly off.

I liked The Hulk. Not sure what it is that wasn't all that great about it. What was it about it that sucked? Not that crazy about Liv Tyler as Betty, but it had everything I remember from the comics and a nice nod to the TV show. Nice tie in to the other Avengers. And, The Abomination. Maybe The Leader and Doc Samson for the next go round...I'm a Hulk fan, so maybe I'm biased...

I do think deep down that Wolverine is going to get clobbered by Star Trek.

Well I came back from seeing it and i thought it wasn't going to be much. I had such low expectations that I was really surprised that I really liked it a lot.

Sorry it's not as good as Ironman but It's as good as Incredible Hulk and Better than X-3 which i thought sucked. Loads of action and it fits well within the X-men movie world. Gambit was awesome!!!
and cyclops was a minor character.

            Sabertooth was awesome!!!!!

minor gripe can Wolverine's hair stay the same in the shots I swear one moment it was a mess next moment it was perfect...lol!

Saw it. Thought it was great. Exactly what you expect from a Wolverine movie, and maybe a little more depth to boot. I like how things tied into the previous X-Flicks. It all makes sense, save for Sabretooth's appearance maybe.

I have no idea what people are finding to gripe about in this one. It's not Citizen Kane, but it's a good action flick. It's not trying to be anything but escapist fun, and it is.

Not a huge X-Men comic nut, but I can't see why anyone would gripe about them mucking with the backstory when it changes daily at the writers' whims. From what I saw this movie combines different aspects of Wolverine's back story as it has been developed over the years.

I'd rank it right there with X1, slightly below X2, and way above X3.

By the way, there is a neat cameo I haven't seen anyone mention. I won't spoil it, but I was glad to see it!

Edited to add one more thing: The theater I saw it in was literally PACKED. I don't think there was a seat left. And it was showing on 3 screens there. It will be interesting to see how this movie and Star Trek coexist next weekend.

                    My overall opinion.

                    C-
When I first wanted to see it I was expecting a Wolverine movie. Not Wolverine and a million guest stars.
The action was good the drama was good. We could have left Cyclops out of the movie. No need for him.

You know, I can see that argument, BUT the movie is titled "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". The "X-Men Origins" part is taken quite literally. Not just this X-Men, but the X-Men series in general, with a focus on Wolverine. I liked Cyclops' role in this, esp. since it lead to a very cool and surprising scene that tied everything together quite nicely.

after all the hell everyone raised about how this movie would suck, I was relieved to see a decent action flick. its no iron man, dark knight, or watchmen..but was worth seeing. Some of the secret endings are posted up on youtube for those who are interested :D

Early estimates have Wolverine pulling in $87 million for the weekend! Not bad at all.
