I liked it. The acting was good and Sabertooth was really good.

I caught part of X2 on FX last night. I happened upon it right as Stryker was telling Wolverine "as I remember you volunteered". What he preceeded to say totally matched up with the new film, and it made me appreciate the movie that much more.
I think there is some good word of mouth going out for this movie, it will be interesting to see how it does next weekend against Star Trek, which looks good but has a lot diehards divided on it. The critics clearly couldn't sink Wolverine.

I thought the Wolverine movie was decent. Nothing to get too excited about or upset about either.
I liked the cameos and guest stars. I had noticed a young Storm in the trailers but missed her in the film.
They never really explained why Victor Creed began to hate his brother, but hey the film covered a lot of ground.
I enjoyed the Spider-man and Iron Man films more. I was more impressed with the first two X-Men at their release, but as a fourth entry in a series, this one was OK.
I hope it makes enough money that they go ahead and make the Magneto and Young X-Men movie that they are supposedly working on.Comment

I think Victor began to hate his brother because he left him. At the beginning of the movie Victor more or less tells Logan it's them against the world and they had to stick together. Obviously they did for 150 years, until Jimmy/Logan couldn't take it anymore and walked away. He felt betrayed, and was out to teach him the error of his ways.

The "missing piece" for me was how Victor mutated into Taylor Mane in X1. Although I guess they never identify Victor as "Sabretooth" so they could in fact be two different characters, which opens things up for a Wolverine sequel set in the "present" post X3.Comment

**SPOILER ALERT..kindof**
a wolverine sequel is already officially in the works, and Im guessing it will have something to do with the secret ending people saw where wolverine is sitting in a bar in singapore or wherever in east asia. A deadpool spinoff is also "as good as official" since he was shown in a secret ending to indeed not be dead. A gambit spinoff is also in talks. Great time to be a comic geek Id sayComment

I finally saw it.
I liked it. I liked all the comic goodies. I think most comic fans will like it. - not the general public.
lots of fun action but a very loose script, some oddities in the stories, and poor editing keep this movie from being a true blockbuster
a couple of you said this wasn't that violent - ARE YOU NUTS? Shooting the good guy in the head at point blank, the old farm couple that remind your kids of their own grandparents assassinated, graphic war scenes, decapitations, > on top of the usuall fighting and gun violence.
i'd rank the x-men movies X2 (9), X-Men (8.5), X-Men the Last Stand (8) X-Men Origins (7)Comment
