When I first saw the picture of Earth 2 Superman,I thought it was Bizzaro.

Man, what a boring sounding "event". Nothing like DC crapping all over some of its iconic characters. This is right up there with the new Captain America and the now male Wasp. Uggh.

I knew they killed the wasp, but why replace her already? Sounds like DC editorial is now running Marvels event comics as well.

I just dropped all the Avengers titles during that Skrull stuff. $4 bucks an issue to read monolouges about Luke Cage's dad-meh.

Janet died after being manipulated by the Skrull Henry Pym into being a big bomb of sorts....The mantle of the Wasp has now been picked up by her ex-husband, the REAL Henry Pym (formerly Ant-Man, Giant Man, Goliath, Yellowjacket....yada yada...this guy's got problems!)

I never had a pull list that rivaled yours, but I used to buy a lot of DC books. DD and his "vision" and "direction" soured me on all of them. I'm a completist, and it was really hard to walk away from some titles that I had 15yr runs or more. I still read Hex because he pretty much leaves it alone, and that's about it. The Black Lanterns stuff sounds cool, but I'm sitting by and waiting for a "they ruined Black Lanterns" post. If it never comes, I'll pick it up later. I have little faith that they won't screw the pooch with it too.

I've walked away from quite a bit of DC in the last year or so...I'm trying to just stick with books that have a proven track record with me. But I still get sucked in to, well suckfests like Final Crisis, Countdown, Batman R.I.P. Hopefully Blackest Night won't be a let down because I still enjoy the Green Lantern title (I don't do the Corps book) and Geoff Johns is still the best writer DC has IMO. But I do find myself gravitating toward some different genres lately, like the Jonah Hex you mentioned, as well as Sgt. Rock, Madame Xanadu, House of Mystery. As long as things aren't part of the DCU proper, I think they're safe for the time being from Dan DiDio and his editorial regime.

Interestingly enough, several people were recently laid off by DC....one could only hope that this is because people are finally voting with their dollar in this failed economy. I could only hope that DiDio will be on the chooping block at some point. I hate to see people lose their jobs, but let's face it....DiDio ISN'T doing his.

Ohhh-kay...So now on top of all the identity issues, the wife-beating stuff, the skrull kidnapping, and the Oedipal Ultron stuff...Hank Pym is now cross-dressing in the costume of his dead ex-wife.

I have no idea why Marvel and DC try to outdo each other with dumb ideas. Can't they try to outdo each other with say good ideas?

I read that Solovar, Pantha, Airwave and Max Lord will all be Black Lanterns in the back of Brave and Bold #20. Don't know about action figures .

I figured Max Lord Would Be a Black Lantern..., Given his recent output in the DC Universe in recent Years....

I saw a Pic of Ronny Raymond FireStorm in a Jeff John's article in ToyFare 138,.. it's like a Panel from a ComicBook,.. perhaps Blackest Night ??? .. Ronny Says " It's good to be back "

I think whether or Not anyone is a Fan of the Milti-Colored Lanterns,.. After this Story Arc,.. somethings & perhaps Hero's are gonna be set back into Place.

After Reading Green Lantern 37 ,.. I love all this stuff,.. I haven't been addicted to a Comicbook Like this,.. for a Very, long time.

As long as the end of the story has Earth 2 Superman (Kal-L) back as the hero he should be I'll be happy. But if looks really interesting.
