I am going to try and do a small youtube video of the Yarnek toy with the voice in the background from the DVD and I will time his eyes lighting up to when the voice speaks.
On a related note, I just found this pic of me in my collection room getting ready to lock up for the night:
Unfortunately in that picture most of my Mego toys and figures are off camera to the left, except for say one of my Mego Mission to Gamma VI and Enterprise playsets with a few other random pieces that you can see behind me.
This is an interesting shot:

Awesome collection! I have your book and I just love looking at all that vintage Star Trek goodness!"Do you believe, you believe in magic?

Thanks, Nomad is pretty cool
As for the battery issue, depending on where the battery is located you can either have an open hole (door) in the back of the card to make it accessible to get to and change the battery without removing it (I see quite a few electronic toys that have this) or in the case of my Yarnek where the battery is actually in a small box on the wires you can leave the bubble unsealed at the bottom so the loose wires and the battery box can be pulled out through the bottom of the blister bubble enough to get to and change the battery.
I'll go with the "hole in the bottom of the blister" plan!.

The feet are from a Retro Mugato figure. The body is either the retro Mugato body as well or a CTVT body. Not sure as my wife put that part of him together before handing him over to me for hands and head. The hands are 9" or 12" monster figure hands I had in a bag of parts. The head is a clay sculpt I created using images of the creature I found on the web to go by so he is very screen accurate. He looks like a cross between a Neanderthal man and an apeLast edited by wyldpny; Dec 5, '09, 11:59 AM.Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"

With all the ST customs you do, do you ever get around to...eating and sleeping?.
