That's pretty good. Though I am surprised you didn't attempt Don Pedro Colley's "Negro" from Beneath the POTA.

I would have to sculpt him from scratch...and I haven't sculpted any humans before...

            Here is the goal:

Here is my scabbard. Totally not done, but it's chugging along. It looks like I will have to re-do the squigglies. It's kind of tough to not have a print-out and work off of the computer. I prefer working from a printout.

On a #10 envelope for sizing. The extra metal bits to the top of the sword was tough to accomodate. The sword does pull in and out of the scabbard, at least!!

The vambrace I made a few days ago. No work on Link until I finish Ashton's Planet of the Apes gorilla pullover for Halloween.

Future Trek chair. I'm going to add the cushion with Super Sculpey, but I will boil it this time to cure it, since I don't think the plastic will hold up in the oven.

Wish her eyes were a little closer. Oh well. Maybe next sculpt I'll be more mindful of that. Trouble with this one was that I sculpted without having the Mego head in front of me for reference.

My, but your hair smells so lovely...

One more time! This is sooooo hard!!!

Third time's the charm? Unfortunately, no. It's so close but no cigar. One side is perfect. The other side, not so nice...Gaaaaah!!! So I'm going to resculpt her again in another few days or weeks, whichever takes my fancy, no matter how many times it takes.

But it's a step forward from what the second sculpt was.

This is T-Pau from Star Trek. Wonder which episode she starred in? I think she is just a beautiful creature.

She starred in Amok Time, coming along nicely. See your other thread

You are too hard on yourself, Jess. Your sculpts are wicked cool! T'Pau is coming along nicely. Can't wit to see her finished.
