Really glad I took down the middle of the helmet and just got the left and right balanced. The middle piece was really making it hard to adjust the shape evenly. Now I'm going to adjust the bottom edge and smooth everything out before I add the middle portion of the helmet. I can't wait. This helmet is going to eat a lot of molding material. Getting the leather flap to lay correctly is going to be an adventure in itself. I have heard horror stories...but I think I know how to cut out the leather to make it lay properly. That's what happens when one of your peculiar habits is seeing how darts and seams affect the lay of the garment.

That is stellar. Without the flaps and leather it looks like the head gear that Yule Brenner wore in The Ten Commandments.

I have concluded that the middle portion of the helmet is messing up getting my proportions to mirror each other, so I have decided to remove it and get the shape perfected first.

GAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! The Ursus helmet will take forever, methinks. No wonder nobody's made any yet except for Apemania...

Whoo! Embossed leather for Zira and Cornelius. This is Sideshow or Mego scale. Yay.

These are Ed's jeans. I had to re-do the pattern because I lost the other one. Mego bodies have the strangest proportions and wasp waists, even for males.

I think I'm done for the night on this one. Not sure if I want to add the hieroglyphs now or later...

Those jeans are excellent! Looks like you used a shrink ray on a full-size pair of jeans. Perfect amount of detail for Mego scale!

I can honestly say that I find it quite pleasurable to sew Mego scale jeans. Other sewing stuff, not so fun, more work than pleasure, but Mego scale jeans are just really fun to make!

Oy!!!! Sooooo glad I double-checked with Nick. It's not Green Hornet--it's the Riddler. These humans all look alike to me!

Baby Milo is looking better everyday!

It sounds like you have a back-up sewing machine. If not I'll donate one to the cause.

    The Hurley jeans look fantastic!

I think I just killed my mom's sewing machine. I was powering through a pair of Hurley pants when I heard some metal snap and the feeder teeth are refusing to bite now. Time to dig out the new made in China sewing machine from underneath my stash of fabrics...

Just needs snaps and these jeans will be done.

I'm going to study the jacket sent to me by Nick, so I can start mentally processing the Green Hornet jacket for 1:6 scale.
