Yep, with the story breaking across multiple media outlets now, the prices have gone stupid… really really stupid. Everyone who bought them early posting on Ebay, everyone who didn't apparently now bidding. From $35 to $500+ in a week with sets and Broomhilda taking wack money. I dunno, being I'm not a reseller the whole thing doesn't appeal to my ethics, but if someone wanted to trade a minty Silver Soldier, Purple Urko/Ursus or Hot Toys POTA for Ms. Von Shaft, I'd be attentive.

I had assumed that this was just a first wave of stock, and more would be coming and drive the price down. But a friend who owns a small toy store said he'd heard that no more were to be distributed and they are actually asking for stock back. I'd just take that as a rumor at the moment, but if that does happen then I suppose the prices could stay high.

When these were first listed on Ebay,i just wanted the Django figure and didn't want to shell out the 99.99 for all of them and was hoping to catch just Django listed at a decent price.Then instead Django Fever hit and the prices have gone crazy.I ended up doing the preorder thing for Django for 49.99 before the real crazy prices hit.That same preorder seller's prices jumped from what i paid,49.99 to 69.99 to 99.99 then 129.99 for the single Django figure in a couple of days.I'm curious to see if i actually get him.
