Would you expect replacement parts?

They were parts from four different sets. That's way too much in shipping charges. It cost about $11.50 to ship one of these sets. I can't afford to lose so much money trying to get good product. Diamond should just send me replacements. They are losing an easy three sales per set by not replacing my defective items. I was buying a lot of these.
