    Hey Emce!

Contact your factories about their lack of Quality Control!! I've gotten twelve Marvel "Mego" Diamond Select sets so far, and the quality is atrocious! Paint transfer, scuffs, and rubs. Split seams, snag holes, snap set of two male snaps, broken pieces. Stretched and distorted boots and gloves. Non-fitting clothing and piercing gashes. Broken body parts. I'm trying to get parts replaced, but was told there might not be any available. I really want to keep supporting your company by buying all the Marvel figures in multiple, but...
    Keep them coming.

Tough to quality control from halfway across the world, let's hope both companies can overcome the shortcomings and keep the lines going.

the only time quality and control seems to work is for the company to change factories ,FTC switched from a factory in india form
2004-2006 and some stuff in 2012,to a factory in china for their 2012 to present figures which was better.not perfect but they are better.Dr mego once indicated that Diamond/emce
switched factories from their 2007-2009 figures to another for their 2010 -to present figures, the quality control worker bees should
perhaps pay attention more to whats coming off the assembly line so there wont be these weird problems of paint application or two of the same
          hands on a figure.

It is'nt just Emce's Marvel, my Capt. Canuck's hip and bands snapped to pieces by just opening the figure ,and trying to move his leg right out of package .
Many of my replacement swivel buff bodies that I was picking up from Emce (when on sale for 5.00 ea a while back) have broken also

One of my Captain Canuck's hip pins popped as well but to be fair it is the one that is on my desk at work that I keep fiddling with and showing people. No way this guy doesn't get posed at least four times a day

Fortunately it is an easy fix for anyone with a tonne of spare parts lying around.

I can understand something that get's posed or played with a lot but I had just opened this Capt Canuck brand new and the hip joint broke and I don't have luck fixing these.
This also happend to 2 Red panthers, 1950'S Comm. X , and Jack Danger. I spend a lot on Emce stuff .

Quality Control is done in-house. It's the factories responsibility to control the quality of the product. Somebody should be making sure the product isn't flawed before it's packaged.

I keep hearing about bad hip breaks. I haven't had any hips break, but I've had every other problem possible. They make several parts out of the wrong material. Too rigid or too soft and the body parts really have problems.

Funny thing is with all of the bashing the first 3 sets have taken, I have had less problems with these sets then I have with FTC's.

It's not the actual hip but the plug with a hook that goes inside the hip and hooks to band . I have over a dozen broken bodies in this way and have had only one FTC
break and one with backwards arm .I don't know maybe it's my imagination since Emce has great quality control

Almost all of my emce and biff bang pow figures are busted.
                            I'm talking Trek,Dr who,bionic man,Canuck,apes you name it.
If it's got the emce,7th street or BBP it's busted.
I opted out of the new marvel stuff for this reason.
I'm not buying anymore until this "new" body hits the streets.
                            I'll stick with FTC s 66 batman.

With so many figures that break, its amazing -we still buy.every so often i have a repair job on my hands, the latest is the dexter figure.so far
i havent had to repair any marvels yet,for a while now i keep having to repair mostly BBP figures ,2 from lost,2 from twilight zone,3-from
big bang theory,3-from venture bros ,to many to mention from FTC -early stuff(2004-2006),and only 4-from the new ftc figures and
those were the neck issues for the super gals and a bruce wayne wrist.and thats not to bad considering i bought so many lines from FTC.i did
have a couple Emce figures to repair ,one ape had two left hands ,and mcoys leg was warped.but i buy cause i like retro megos "nuff said".
