More EMCE Star Trek Pikes/Salt Vampires?

Long-time trek fan here...let's see, classic TOS characters that could be added to the line...

Female Romulan commander (in a correct Romulan uniform)
Marlena Moreau
Uhura with correct sculpted up-do hairstyle
Kevin Riley (probably my favorite crewmember outside of Kirk-Spock-McCoy-Scotty)
Trelane
Nurse Chapel, but only if her hair is sculpted in the correct style
Harry Mudd (with Tribble accessory)

I think we have the basic core crew group, Id just love to see more aliens than humans, the salt vampire has to be the best one out the lot.

I always wanted a Tellarite (the "pigheaded" ones).
And a simple redshirt security guard for my landing party...

I can say I really didn't like the head on Mirror Kirk, and I believe that was one of the painted ones? The sculpt just seemed...off compared to the regular Kirk. His face was too thin and smirky. I ended up putting the Mirror Kirk uniform on my Khan figure instead.

I didn't have any problem with the sculpt on that head, or the Spock one...but the painted part bugged me. I probably wouldn't have given it a second thought if it had been meant to be a non-Mego-like product. But it just looked too much unlike the rest of the Mego crew faces that way. I didn't have any problem with the Salt Vampire's painted face, because it's a monster and also a totally new character.

I want Vina and Nurse Chapel!

Me three! Although if I had to do without Vina that would be okay as long as we got Nurse Chapel. And maybe Janice Rand.

So, Doc said recently when asked if there would be more EMCE figures issued that it would just be more Pikes and Salt Vampires. Was he serious about that? And if so, why those? Weren't the last figures Mirror Kirk and Spock?

Just wondering if there's been any updates on this subject, or if Doc was joking (along with the "even bigger head for Pike" comment)...

I must admit, having now collected the entire run besides Pike, I would LOVE to see a few more in this line. However, it does seem the painted heads weren't extremely popular, so maybe that killed it off?
