I understand the demand is likely not there, but it would have been great to see second tier characters like Bela's Igor, Colin Clive's Dr. Frankenstein, Lionel Atwill's Inspector Krogh, and even a Lawrence Talbot. Can you imagine the quality of those characters in this series? Argh! A crime they can't be made. But I understand. Paul and company should be VERY proud of this line. Just top notch across the board.

I was very happpy to have Found the mutant at my toys r us today. No phantom though.
It is a shame this line is ending......probably the best re mego line to date.

Even with the explanation of the reasoning behind the cancellation, I'm still kind of puzzled. I'd love to see one more final wave of 4 with Invisible Man, Mr Hyde/Dr Jeckyl, Quasimoto, (Hunchback) and the Mole Man in the retro cloth (Mego) format. Also, i don't know which format sells better, retro or select, but with the other style that Diamond puts out, (I think they call it the "Select Series", the all plastic / no cloth 7" series), there actually IS at least the Hunchback and Mr Hyde being released. I guess I'm just kind of puzzled why those characters would be released in one format, and not the Retro Cloth format. Please don't think I am NOT grateful for what WAS produced, I certainly am. But since the retro cloth format is the one I most favor, and I am so fond of this series, I just can't seem to let it go. Especially after just getting these 2 new spectacular figures... Dude- I love these AND I'm bumming out hardcore...

I would have loved a Jekyll and Hyde. Same figure, different heads.
And Kharis the Mummy.
This line has been "must buy" for me from the start, so any continuation would be welcome...

My brother surprised me with a Phantom today and WOW he looks amazing!!! The detail is insane.
